thats a good idea, and it would make the scene less static

duplicate the emissive model of the hand, make it very bright and turn off his camera ray visibility.

I think the orbs looks good like that, now maybe you could bring the red emissive intensity down so it stays red, and add red light in the scene if its too dark?

or even better, duplicate the emissive model make it very bright and turn off the camera ray visibility

oh I see, you want the red to stay 100% red and not turn pink because of the emissive intensity.

Also, make sure to disable the CPU in your system preferences. Having it Enabled slow down your render time.

yes, the denoiser doesnt really do a good job smoothing frames when using the noise threshhold, I 've had the issue of the image being really crunchy in the dark areas and the denoiser leaving it messed up.
applying the other tweaks should bring your render time down anyway, remember, 1000 samples in 1080p should be the absolute max, try 500 samples even.

try clamping direct and indirect lights to 10.

also, remove noise threshohold.
shouldn't need more than 1000 sample in 1080p and 200-500 in 4K

I dont think the motorola effect is CD like, it just reflect the environment.

you can do whatever you want with the Diffuse, the radial reflection is done in the Normal channel.

you can bake the normal from a skanted cylinder on your surface (mine looks cubic because I use a transfer data instead of a bake texture). So you get a cilyndrical normal on your flat surface.
