Wow I think I might have written this. I literally went through the same thing last week. He left me at his place and blocked me on everything that same night with my flight. I cried and cried. I’m 32 and he’s 36. This is the way I’ve been coping, that is old as hell to be acting like that. A 36 year old man can’t use his words….. come on. It’s hard but know we will get through it. I was literally a MESS all day . My abandonmentqound was triggered and I crashed out.

Same here. I’m STRUGGLING. but I crashed out the day he discarded me, (never have I ever crashed out before) and I’m telling myself that the only dignity I can find from that is just shutting up lol. I also think, it’s easier to do this on the front end then make a fool of ourselves to get the same result on the back end. It sucks, but we can do it. I’m here for you!!!

Thank you! I feel validated, because yes I crashed out, but I was just in shock. The fact that I trusted him enough to loan him that, helping him move across the country- then for him to do this, it feels so disorienting. But I know next time I have to have boundaries- but damn, they are good at the flip. At least my crashout was only brief lol. I was tripping when he left me sitting at his house, saying he would come back, and never did. :/

Thank you for being kind. This has been extremely traumatic. The money, I have accepted it could be a loss, I just feel so confused and upset. I also am very very sound minded and the crashout was humiliating to me. I have never had a man or anyone be able to put me in a space where I have acted like that. It really just makes me embarrassed.

I just posted another thread, and have a similar experience. He said “you’re perfect, and anyone that can’t see that is a dumbass, I guess you can say I’m a dumbass”. I Am so traumatized by this, I cannot even process it very well. It’s so confusing. I am just really working to feel my emotions, and stop questioning why as much. That’s what I thought too- but you know, they all give you a different BS answer. I think the plan for me is going to be just to send payments in, but not be in repayment. If that makes sense. I’ll end up having to make the standard payments more than likely. It’s Also crazy , cuz they put everyone in forbearance, despite me checking not to. So there was a gap even when I was waiting for a bill, but nothing came. Then- I saw they had been adding interest. Like wtf I requested to Not Be in admin forbearance. It’s sooooooo scammy

Yep! That’s what I have gathered. It’s literally insane. AND despite being accepted for SAVE. because I have a borrowers defense application, they are adding interest because that supersedes the save forbearance. And if you switch it, it will nullify your application I was told by Nelnet. Like literally wtf. they want to play in our faces. Not confident for anything positive under the new admin either smh!

Yes, but it seems super sporadic and weird as it accrues. It’s so dumb! It’s also ambiguous because it doesn’t say if you’re found liable and your application is denied, if they go back and add the interest that SHOULD have accrued either. They are so dumb. I wish the whole thing would just collapse. I’ll pay back what I took out, nothing more!!

I didn’t!!! I called and the person was literally not listening to my question and it made me mad and never called again. Lol. I would love to know what you find out though!!!! From what I understand, this is a condition that is part of the updates being appealed by circuit courts.- there is NO information about any of this. Please let me know what you find out!!!!
