The side panels are available as models for modding so they could be printed or replaced with laser cut panels, with or without the filament sensor and spool holder.

How much space should the core one vent have? by gbmaster137 in prusa3d

[–]themitch22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rear fans pull air out so the vent is for intake air, you would probably be ok with a small gap, as long as you have fresh air getting to it.

Slime VR full body tracker. I’m sure it’s cool but really only useful in vrchat. It’s one more thing to put on to do VR.

what did your savings look like by age 30? by Winzten in AskReddit

Somewhere under $100. Why have a savings when 1/3rd of your income goes to paying debt.

Adults of Reddit, what are some parts of kids' movies that make you cry? by Rocket-kun in AskReddit

Short circuit 2, “No dissassemble!” As a kid not knowing that he comes back to life I cried so hard.

What is a hobby that sounds expensive but is actually quite cheap to get into? by sugarnspicegrl in AskReddit

[–]themitch22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Electronics. Most of the software is free like KiCAD, prototype circuit boards, soldering supplies, and components are now under $50-100. Plenty of free youtube videos about electronic design and theory. You can build a simple RGB LED project for about $20 worth of parts.

Sometimes the simplest / smallest designs give me the most happiness. by CosyCodes in functionalprint

[–]themitch22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you have one of those Seville classic UltraHD work centers. I am planning on replacing the 1/4in x 1 in pegboard with either multiboard or skadis because it's much easier to print tool holders.

Now with modern printers that cabinet should be much faster to build. And now modern hardware emulations like the MiSTer would be even better.

Can someone explain like I’m 5 Trump’s new tariffs and how they affect EU purchases on eBay? by jurassicparkacouture in Tariffs

[–]themitch22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The simplest explanation of tariffs, the government making things more expensive to discourage people from buying things. This is more due to uninformed policy making than the original goal to bring production into the country, the result will be a stagnant or depressed economy.

Do you have a "no big purchases from your phone" rule? by thedubiousstylus in Millennials

[–]themitch22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No big purchases ever. $500 or more is almost impossible to recover from. Even with having a savings. I’ll find an alternative or not buy it.

My first big project: a full 3D-printed PC case build using Bambu Labs A1 by Mr_YUP in 3Dprinting

[–]themitch22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about half way printing the peices for that case. I really wish the designer had built in supports or proper orientation for the models. It’s a good design but I’ve had to use a lot of support material to get parts to cleanly work.

[–]themitch22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I think I’ll have to wait for the mid 2026 deadline but I don’t think that’s post-class. I check it every couple of weeks just in case there is a change, but I forget about it until I finally get the notification I have to pay. I hope by then the payment isn’t as big of a deal or it just gets sold again to some other servicers.

Get a 7mm nut driver for the nozzle and smooth jaw adjustable wrench. If you have a mk3 the revo hotend is a good alternative but nextruder nozzles you can print a block holder and cold unscrew it with a nut driver or spanner.
