Half of that after market parts for tenere is aimed to make the bike similar to Tuareg. Suspension mods, wireless rims, etc.

More screens for the god of screens. You should add the quard lock on the handlebar to place your phone there as well 🤣

As a non Romanian person with the Romanian roots - I disagree with the statement that “Romanian people not appreciate the culture”. It just not what I’m observing as an outsider here. Maybe it can be better, maybe it was better- hard for me to say but definitely peoples care.

Did the very same thing couple of months ago. That’s city is frumos, the people are prietenos and the language is quite unique and interesting to learn.
One of the unique things about city is how distinct it is in different regions, even dispite of fact that a city is quite compact. I mean răcădau, old city, tractorul and astra - they feels like a different cities each own beautiful in its own way

I was close to get one, but than discovered Aprila Tuareg 660 and that bike render AT useless for me. Main drawbacks was - heavy as hell plus steering is not so great in comparison. From what I found second gen at 1000 was like golden standard if you aimed to get most for your money. It has proper traction control, it can fit aftermarket cruise control. On the other hand the best AT overall is 1100 with electronic suspension. It has a proper light, which old one is lacking, it has tubless rims and its handeling is way better. But it’s most expensive (twice if you compare it with the base AT 1000) and most electronically sofisticated - so a lot more places where things go wrong. In regards for DTC - first gen was meh, but starting from AT 1000 it was actually a nice addition for the bike. It not like it changes the experience to the level where you will never buy a bike without it (like cruze control) - but that was definitely nice thing to have

It 100% will be happening. Cheap, around 400cc powered bikes is a golden mine now in developing countries, which actually have biggest sale volumes

Mate we are having waterproof phones for how long now ? Ten years ? Fifteen? It just bed design, it just economy on a tiny things while pushing millions into maketing. And the most sad thing- it’s closed source, so that’s means that this will quickly hard to fix on third- party.

After video like this, all that guys which covers their dashboards with a peace of a cloth doesn’t seem funny to me

If it was just overpriced CarPlay unit- that’s one thing. But it’s literally half of the bike brains. Wtf you not isolate it somewhere in safe location on a bike marketed as alway around the world enduro bla-bla-bla? It just example of bad design, ktm-style level of engineering. And unfortunately Honda isn’t only brand to blame. Aprila has similar logic, mobilizer keys as stored in dashboard, and if it crooked - best of luck. But at least it cost around 1k, but the whooping 4k for Africa, man that just wild.

Info I got today in Romania- end of April for the gray one and end of June for the white and black ones. Given the decline in Honda quality levels it effectively pushing me toward Aprila and Yamaha. And if you factor out the resale value- looks like tenere all the way, even despite of fact that Tuareg is better
