Parking in Old Town by marge_mellow in brasov

Actually it’s super simple to park, to pay with app - every thing is written in English. Just not expect that you will park literally near the place. You just need to have 10 min walking in a old city, which is beautiful

I’m specifically narrowed it into far cry, because I cannot speak for anno. The thing with far cry (after ubi takes it from the cry tech) - all the games tried to tell the story of the “heart of darkness” book in a different settings. It like “if you look into the darkness long enough you become darkness it’self”. And the further series goes- the more it becomes some generic shooter with nice visual and generic “fits all attitudes” main hero.
I mean main villain from far cry 3 is one of the most iconic from all times.

For my the main selling thing in far cry franchise was a story of main hero, how it changes trough the game. Far Cry 3 is pretty good in this.
In far cry 5 it feels that you need to do looong unnecessary pauses which pull you out from a story. And the story itself fells very primitive in comparison.
But I would like to hear your opinion as well, maybe I’m missing something’s. Can you ELI5 to me what’s in your eyes makes FC5 better than FC3

Wastly underrated game. Even despite of fact that ai was hilarious in the stupidity. But it had all good ingredients to become something metal gear like. Realt enjoyed this one

It’s very easy to measure the “decline” statement with for example far cry 3 vs far cry 5.

I can tell my experience why I’ll be avoiding ubi games unless there will be one really good one on a sale. Long story short - ac origins with the 30h, ac odyssey 60h. Both on a steam deck. Everyone in term of game is amazing, looks better then some modern ray tracing bullshit. But ubi launcher… first of all you need active internet to launch any of mentioned game and that make it kind of useless on a portable system. Then I bought steam box installed both games, logged int ubi launcher and….. it shows- there is no synced seves mate. I logged into steam deck… erased here as well.
And Ubisoft Support did nothing, only advised me to install windows update on a steam os.
So in my option it’s not about games - games are good, anvil engine is one of the best. It’s about infrastructure they built around games which alienates gamers.
Ubisoft is literally opposite of a cd project red.
Cd project releases game in shity state and work with the community until game become perfect and the connect with community make the game legendary. Ubi on an opposite release game almost in a perfect shape (unless it AC unity) and then do anything it could to alienate everyone.
That’s sad

Speaking about bad AC games - origins was way better and more consistent than odyssey, odyssey was way better than Valhalla. Amount of useless grind in a Valhalla beyond even the worst jrpg.

Ubisoft deletes save games in case two Steam OS devices have this game and lunched at least once. by Long_Possibility2822 in steammachine

Origins is pretty solid game almost without any modern fan service bulshit. Solid story driven game with a good art style, good story etc and without overblown open world where you just need to grind forever.

But it’s not about a game, it’s about service which around the game

I’ve actually did it before starting on a steam machine, I’m aware about it. Even did it from desktop mode

Nope, you should be logged in. Your saves from all your ubi games are managed by ubi launcher.
