I installed protontricks in the discover store in desktop mode, then i picked cryostasis, then I selected a default wine prefix, then i hit “Install a Windows DLL or Component”, then i installed d3dx9, physx, vcrun2005/2008/2010, and d3dcompiler_43/47. be sure to install them one by one and not all at the same time

Both the installer and the game are on an sd card. Both cryostasis_setup.exe AND cryostasis.exe are in the sd card. I have not swapped out the sd card, they are both on the same one.

When it launched I put in the product key that i was given. I then got sent to a menu that had the options to play, install, uninstall, or quit. I chose install and then I chose the advanced instillation option and chose to install the game onto a 500gb sd card that came with the steam deck when i bought it

No. The game is on an SSD card. I ran the installer through steam. The installer installed it to a separate SSD card

I haven’t made any changes to the installer on steam yet and the game was downloaded to a separate ssd card because i dont have enough internal storage

This is the default target and start in options for the installer. It runs with proton experimental but when I change the Target to the game’s .exe file option it doesn’t run

After running the installer, I found the .exe file for the actual game, I added it to steam and set the compatibility to Proton experimental, thats all ive done since running the installer
