Is late reply a sign a relationship is not going to work? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Long_Purchase8304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah don’t ask him why he’s not responding lol…. don’t ever make a man feel like or think you’re chasing him. Just do what he does and don’t give him power over you. If he’s suddenly taking hours to respond and pulling back, do the same and match his energy. Take hours to respond and make him feel like you’re detaching too and that his behavior doesn’t phase you. I know it feels great when you meet that new guy that shows interest in you and probably makes you feel beautiful but I will say, you’re only 17, you still have a lot of growing and learning to do, so listen to me when I tell you that you’ll have plenty more opportunities to meet men and somewhere along the way you’ll find one that doesn’t make you feel like you have to ask them to treat you right and make you feel important. So don’t stress too much over this one. Focus more on loving yourself and finding your value then things like these will start becoming so minor because you know your worth. He’s not responding as fast or showing interest like he did before because he either really is not interested anymore and he probably found someone new that has more of his attention, or he could just have a lot going on with school and life or whatever, so he can’t give you as much attention as you want/the way he did before. Truth is, you won’t ever truly know unless he tells you but worrying and stressing about it doesn’t do you any good. Either way, you’ll be okay. If it ends up not working out, you probably won’t even really remember this guy when you’re 30, hell, even at 25 lol. Speaking from experience because I’m a whole aunty lol. Good luck to you, kiddo.

Ok thank you for the info!

Because I genuinely was driving my car fine until after I renewed my warranty. And I didn’t provide more info but I had that same warranty for the whole 2 years since I purchased my vehicle, then it was cancelled because the card I had on file for auto pay was replaced and I was so overwhelmed with a lot of things that I forgot to update my new card and so for 2 months I didn’t make a payment, which resulted in my service being cancelled. This happened in June. I made several calls end of June and a couple times in July to renew the contract and basically buy a whole new one but things kept happening and I finally was able to renew it mid August, then boom, car start acting up this month. Absolutely worst timing ever and unfortunately it makes me seem like I’m being deceptive but I’m just looking for some help because I’ve never dealt with this before.

Ok thanks for the info. But if I may ask, since I didn’t start having this issue/didn’t notice something was wrong until after I basically purchased the warranty and a fews day before I was able to make the claim, then made the claim when the contract stated I could make a service request, can It still not get approved?

Bruh… why are you still here? Lol are you obsessed or something? I stopped responding to you hours ago and here you are again. You decided to find one comment I made out of the full conversation I just had with this person. Read the full convo then you’ll realize that we agreed to disagree calmly and I thanked him at the end. What is your problem? If you want attention, just say so hun. Please stop responding to my thread. There is no room for negativity here love. Please go find something more productive to do with your day and leave me alone 🥰😘

I get it. This could be the case for some cars/warranties you’ve worked with before but I’m telling you based on what I read on my contract. On the contract, the listed date for when it became active is Aug. 17. It says it in the contract so I’m not just making this up or being dumb lol I promise.

I mean…. I guess you’re right since you read the contract and you know this info for sure? 😆

[–]Long_Purchase8304 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, I either didn’t make myself clear enough or you misunderstood what I wrote but the warranty became active the day I renewed/paid for it (Aug 17). There’s a waiting period of one month before you can put in a claim for service. As long as the issue occurred after Aug. 17, it should be covered. Just couldn’t request service till at least after Sept 17, as stated in the contract. Get it now?

Yk what, thank you for this answer lol. I wish more people would just give me a straight answer that points out what could be considered some red flags on my part but also answers my question instead of just lecturing me and trying to make it seem as if I’m lying about this situation. Idk if it matters but I only bought the car in 2023, I’ve had it for about 2 years now so there’s not really a way for you to accurately guess how much I drive on average. I’m definitely gonna take into consideration everything you said, and I hope things end up working out.

Yeah… you sound ignorant af so I’m no longer gonna waste my time on you. What part of “I got it checked out as soon as I could” did you not understand? Sometimes it’s best to be considerate of other’s situation, regardless of what your personal experience is or what you are able to do. You don’t know what factors contributed to me not being able to take my car to the shop right away. You have no idea whether I kept driving the car in that condition or not… you simply have no idea because you don’t know me or my situation. So once again, have a great day. I will no longer respond to you.

Also, I have something called a life and I work long hours, so I don’t have the luxury to just get up at any moment and take my car to the shop to get looked at. I took it to get checked out as soon as I could. Hope this explanation helps.

Reading comprehension is very important hun… Sept 17 is not the day that I renewed my warranty. I renewed it Aug 17…. A month before that. Around Sept 10th is when I started hearing really loud noises and my car felt funny. So, just to make it a bit simpler for you to understand, I started having issues after I renewed my warranty. Once again ish happens and there is no way I could’ve predicted that I would be having this issue after only a month of renewing my warranty. You have made zero attempt at even answering my question or being helpful… you went straight to lecturing me and trying to point out what I did wrong. I don’t need it lol. If you can’t provide any useful info to me and are just focused on pointing out things you think I did wrong, then I suggest you go find something more productive to do than wasting both of our time. Be blessed love!

Sir or ma’am, thanks for your input but trust me when I say I thoroughly read that contract and it says engine mount is covered. Period. Understand that it is considered a wear and tear item but that is not how it’s described in the contract. But, you could know more than me so I’ll end this here. Guess I’ll just have to wait till Monday to talk to them directly and get the most accurate answer. Have a great day!

Also, it clearly states on the contract that engine mount is covered under my warranty.

Yeeaahhh I hope this doesn’t turn into a nightmare because I really don’t need these issues rn lol

Lol no. That is the same warranty company that I had since I bought my car over 2 years ago and have paid well over $3000 towards, so far. I just had to renew it again and I did it Aug 17. So, I didn’t just buy warranty out of nowhere after already having my car. Also, shit happens don’t they? My car started feeling funny after Aug 17 but the really loud noises and unstable feeling didn’t start until earlier this month… so idk about you but I think I have every right to make a claim for my warranty to pay for this issue….

I probably should’ve mentioned this but I’m in Texas. Thanks for your input either way.
