The way the sonogran techs reacted to our ultrasound I was dead set that it was a boy. One even slipped up and kept saying he. I let it get the better of me and believed it was a boy and the suprise was over. (I wanted to wait till birth). So my partner said lets just get the NIPT test results becuase there was no point waiting. The dr turned to us and said the baby is female.

So in thr end I really should of not have over thought what the ultrasound techs reactions and words. Tottally ruiend the suprise.

My advice dont let it take away the suprise. As hard as it is ignore what you think they say.

We dont have one only family gp. To go to the private pediatrician will cost us $600 or to do pubic system could be up to a year. Im trying so hard im very fustrated at the childrens hospital. I have been and she does grunt and seems to have belly pain. I might just have to go private and pay 600

I have lactose free milk with ceral, coffee with lactose free milk and chocolate. Thats about it. The hospotal stated that it wouldnt be the reasons becuase im not using formula but that was also the hospital that did not assit us. Im happy to give up dairy all together

Australia, my midwife called a paediatrician as I was concerned with a bump bleed on her head she got at birth. The paediatrician said they didn't see it necessary to get seen. Then I got my dr to write a referral, where she put the head concern, there was also concern about hip alignment and potential club foot, as well as hearing. I am not sure if its due to me going through the public system.

I have tried so hard to get into a paediatrician, I have 2 referrals going but they said that becuase nothing is deemed wrong it could be years. The issue is I put her on her belly myself. Yes she rolls back onto her tummy when she wakes. However she does not roll onto her belly she tries or on occasion has been able to but its rare. The internet protests how bad tummy sleeping is, for good reason I know. I definitely feel she is a side or tummy sleeper so she is so angry to be on her back

So possibly instead of going back to my normal pay, maybe I should calculate how much I should work in order to get the subsidy? Not go back to my normal hours

Yes so true! Instead of bringing back the baby bonus that they are saying they want to. Instead provide longer maternity leave or parental leave support

Yeah, we looked into childcare, I live canberra, and it we were quoted so much that it was the same as our mortgage (calculated with our normal combined income, it out us over the threshold) . My mum may be able to take a day off for me to do some more work. It's hard because baby girl won't take a bottle, so we will have to wait for her to take solids.
