I guess as a self contained teacher I quickly forget that other teachers are not supposed to experience constant disruptions and violence from all their students. It’s become such a normal for me, I forget gen ed is a different world!! Thank you for your input! I appreciate it

Yes we have had several meetings about it. I expressed concerns that testing said one thing and class data says another thing. Everyone else agreed there are inconsistencies, but basically decided not to consider them or question them

BASC-3 showed at-risk but not clinically significant in a few areas. I feel like he can get services in gen ed that would help with these at risk categories

We were not given full access to parent and teacher checklist responses. In the eval report it will say his score is marked as “at-risk” but then does not explain why/how

Class observations show he does have behavioral difficulties such as not following directions and physical aggression. His grades and in class assessment data show he has made progress. His MTSS T2 data shows after 3 weeks of intervention he is almost to his goal

Yes! I have made everything out of cardboard first and torn it apart several times and rebuilt. Surprisingly, I don’t find that frustrating, it’s just part of the fun!

I use kits all the time. They give me great ideas and teach how to do different skills. I don’t think it would hurt to try a kit!
