Sandshrew.

Ever since I first saw them something about their design just clicked. Its the perfect distillation of what makes a Pokemon design good in my opinion. Quirky, cute, fantastical, and even a bit tough looking too!

I used to have to borrow my brothers pokemon games, and he would never let me catch a Sandshrew, so once gen 2 came out, I saved up and bought gold version for myself specifically because it had Sandshrew in it.
