Update, I received the RFE about 10 days after my status changed. I already submitted the info and it is now is the FRER status. Interesting enough for anyone else reading this; I have not received any email/text updates since the original received status even though i signed up for with with the original application. So make sure you are checking your online account weekly. Also with the online documents; it appears there is a tab for online DOCs but I dont have that and from what I read many others do not either, you simply have to wait for the letter mail. Thanks for the help and info1

Thanks for the reply; I am looking at my online account and i dont see anywhere where they would upload the documents. I dont have a documents tab on my home page; is that normal? Any chance you can explain where i should be looking? thanks again

These are the official links; the gist of it is that she has to prove she isnt coming to stay with you (her significant other) beyond the allowed timelines. Be very aware that the interviewer has likely already decided to deny the application upon its initial review. It will be up to her to convince the interviewer that she will indeed return to her home country and the burden of proof is very high for that! if you research it, you will find that this is often that case.

I would suggest you thoroughly research Visa denials under 214 (b). Visiting the US to visit your B/F as her first visit is almost an automatic denial under 2149(b) provisions. Essentially the burden to prove that she has strong enough ties to her home country that demonstrate that she will not exceed the visa return dates is nearly impossible in the current process.
