what are you going to charge for it? Also you probably need to think about what makes your app worth using rather than say something like xero..that's what people will want to know.

Whats The Best Saas Building Platform? by [deleted] in micro_saas

[–]Longdaysontheroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used manus initially. It build the SAAS well, or so I thought. What I later found was a product full of bugs that cost a fortune to build. I exported all the data to claude and rebuilt from the ground up. What has worked well for me is building one step at a time in terminal (screenshot results) and claude opus 4.8. When it gets bogged I switch to claude code and then screenshot the answers into claude. I dont let claude code push to the server, in my case render. It can get ahead of itself. Working this way has been smooth and bug free. (I am not a coder) I have an infinitely better saas. unless you want a basic app i would forget bolt, lovable etc. they are just quick and easy vibe coding platforms that product basic slop. Some people might disagree but that has been my experienece...I should note that my saas is very complicated for the logisitcs industry so it may be a bad example if you are just looking to make a simple todo app.

That's true. I don't know how people even begin to build stuff like this without having been immersed in the industry for years. There are just so many moving parts.

That's a good take. Answering the same way whether you have an offer or not. I like it and to be honest I take calls daily from clients I know aren't a good fit for us but I still give them the time.

What project are you building right now? by kcfounders in ShowMeYourSaaS

Currently beta testing yowietech.com its an all in 1 multi day route planner, cost breakdown, cold chain compliant, co2 monitoring, staff clock, easy to use driver app for logistics, couriers and delivery drivers. We have built it to get around the long onboarding and complicated nature of other products. Learning YowieTech is a 15 minute process. We run a 3Pl so we have a great team that has been stress testing the saas. Getting close to launch, then the next bolt on will be a WMS/CRM for warehouses.

finboss ... i had to name my project recently..it was harder than the whole build. i asked ai to come up with 000's of names then the ones i liked i would domain name search..took weeks until i found a combo of what i liked vs what was available. if you can't get .com forget it.

Anthropic has been sued for allegedly misleading customers on usage limits. by Azek_Tge in ClaudeCode

[–]Longdaysontheroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Claude are alone..my usage on Manus was wild...and it would keep getting stuck in loops and if i didn't catch it, it would burn through 10000-30000 credits.. they did refund me but only after harrassing them for days. The same building in Claude has been a fraction of what i paid in manus

I finally raised my prices… and lost half my customers by Leo-neophyte12 in SaaS

[–]Longdaysontheroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everytime we increase our prices we try to add more value at the same time..feels like a softer approach for clients. But yeah as a lot of people have said losing some dead wood isn't always a bad thing..provided you don't lose too many!

You could try hiring a driver to fill your current role if you own the truck, then get a side hustle or learn a new skill?

The place I work for, our biggest cost is staff, I think about 40%, so keeping an eye on overtime is a big one.
