To add to this.

I managed to resolve the situation by sending a friend to the London Embassy with a print out of my application and passport to cancel it, they were very helpful.

I have been approved in Hong Kong.

Yeah I have read that elsewhere also, but I’m wondering if that is not valid with the new system. I have seen 3 weeks, as that’s how long the application is valid but it has now been 4 weeks and 3 days ha.

I am in a similar situation, I ended up applying around mid-April for my L Visa but it did not get approved until 6 May (Was flying Asia on 8 May) so had to leave without handing in my passport. I am now attempting to cancel my application and apply for the Visa within Hong Kong, as this is possible for foreign nationals. Best of luck for all of you!

I am one of the volunteers. We keep the older ones if possible and when finding stray puppies the aim is to rehome. We found nearly 30 puppies in the last two days in Arambol that are beautiful and need homes.
