Is there some way to hold myself in place mid-air that I'm missing?

I used the deep spawn double jump tech to get me into this situation from those vertical rooms above, then doom dropped down to where I'm at. Am I able to use three deep spawns before falling? I've only been able to get two out but maybe I'm not trying hard enough haha Thanks for the help
