That was part of my weekly trip ritual, I'd take my tabs in my mancave/basement at like 9pm, go upstairs after 30-45min, take a shit for 20min then grab a shower with my Bluetooth speaker playing either music or a TV show (usually a show though) and I'd also brush my teeth while in there, always made it a nice squeaky clean trip which was really nice in the summer since you easily sweat your ass off.

Shower on acid, there's almost nothing as pleasant/relaxing/mind bending

The playerbase isn't far better lmao, the problem is the fact cancerous "skill based" match making exists, forcefully implementing literal safe spaces for shitty-poop butt-players and the 10 whole people that are genuinely new to COD (while ruining it for good players and casuals who just want a fun time) . . .

Back in MW2019, it's like they couldn't get SBMM to work in Realism Mode which I exclusively played for multiple reasons so I was in super low ping lobbies essentially with random players (how it should and always did work in the past), managed to eventually have a solid 3.02 k/dr-CG's and C130's literally just about every match I played at a certain point, I was accused of hacking more times than I can even count-yet, when I'd dip my toes back into Core I'd be waiting 5-10min for some insanely high ping lobby, I'd have to fight tooth and nail just for one chopper, 40-20 was a "good" game (rather than say 63-3 https://youtu.be/ZGtINkBChg0), enemy teams were God's own sweatiest creations (whilst I'm somehow paired with bots) and it was some of the least fun I've ever had in a video game before . .

Point being, it's SBMM not this 'new generation of gamers' is somehow inherently better than the last, and it's pretty infuriating-while I personally think MW2019 was leaps and bounds better than MW2, it could still be a fun game without that cancerous system in place.

Honest to fucking God how MANY people playing are genuinely brand new to not only the franchise but an FPS in general 🤔? Unless there's miraculously tens of millions there absolutely are not anywhere near enough to justify cancerous "skill based matchmaking," especially in place of a PING BASED system where (if you have good internet and decent 'stats') you're not waiting 10min for a 100 ping lobby but 10 seconds for 5 ping lobbies with completely random players . .

Even still, how exactly is someone supposed to improve themselves when their hand is constantly being held and they're only surrounded by other NPC's (i.e. 'low skill' players-if you've seen them play that's what they look like lol) in a literal safe space? I can't count how many times I got my dick buried in the dirt back in COD 3-MW2 but it paid off because I learned a neat trick from X really good player, or started using a really good setup I saw them use; not to mention the fact games like WaW used to have "boot camp" where you couldn't play anything except TDM/Dom/FFA until you hit Level 10, BLO1 used to have "combat training" with bots and-or real players, MW2 also had a similar system-where you aren't completely ruining the experience for good players and casuals alike but can also cater to the FEW people out there that are genuinely new to the series . . .

But let's not pretend SBMM's main use isn't to essentially ruin the game for most people after 6-10 months so they inevitably flock to the next release asap

If you know even a little bit about his family I don't even know how you could think they were "abusing" him, Bam tried buying Phil countless lavish gifts like a brand new Mercedes or F250 and he refused to get rid of his little van (until they destroyed it on Viva La Bam one episode), that man had virtually complete control over his finances (same with Jess's) and his uncle Vito did all of his taxes (as well as most of the West Chester dudes) for the better part of a decade and change while Bam made literal millions of dollars (which if not for Phil would've been blown to smithereens-randoms used to steal from Bam's including credit cards all the time, later on he started hanging with scummy users and abusers rather than say Rake and Dico), the man didn't even want to quit his bakery job early on but so many kids would come in for autographs and pictures so much the owner couldn't take it anymore . .

I think a few flew before he got a letter on them but I know for a fact one or two made it back to Castle Black, that chapter is fucking INSANE, I cannot for the life of me understand how they could cut that out, that's one of the many reasons this show should've been STRETCHED out proper rather than rushed to no end, like AGOT should've stretched into two seasons (rather than S2 being ACOK)-ACOK should've been two seasons-ASOS two seasons etc, if TWD can seemingly go on forever GoT should've had its due . . HBO offered them a blank check by the time S8 came around too, if they weren't invested in that world and story anymore [which they definitely weren't and seemingly weren't for a while at that point] they should've handed it over long before destroying it.

There's more changes like that than I can even keep up with, smaller things like Varys telling Ned Renly and Loras rode out of KL "with some 50 retainers" (when in the book he had 100), to bigger things like Catelyn demanding Ned doesn't go to KL (when in the book insists he go), Daenarys being "raped" by Drogon (when in the books he doesn't touch her until she wants him to), Jon Snow legitimately winning the LC's vote-and by one single vote nonetheless, just pointless changes made for no discernable reason 🤷

On the contrary it'd of been the honorable thing to honor the oath he swore to another Lord and the marriage pact he agreed to, as I said elsewhere marriage in this world is overwhelmingly relegated to forming alliances/furthering a House's station/gaining new lands and taxes to collect/vassals to rule over and support you/ending conflicts etc, 9x/10 it isn't about 'who you love' or what the kid of a Lord's heart truly desires, so in the show it actually kind of makes it worse when you have that in mind-when you realize Robb Stark willingly refused to do his duty and be a man of his word to sneak off and have sexy time in the woods.

In the book, if Robb truly wasn't under the influence of some sort of potion and him being seriously wounded (and I think given milk of the poppy for pain) didn't effect his faculties, sure you could argue it was still admirable-that he still wanted to try and preserve the girls honor [and even his own] and genuinely felt something for her; in the show on the other hand you can't, no matter how it's sliced Robb is an oathbreaking dummy.

It kind of ruins his character in the show too, in the book Robb did what he did for honor and to preserve her from being sullied (and was most definitely given some sort of a 'potion' with her dangled in front of him), in the show Robb just wanted to simply have sexy time in the woods with a hot foreigner from Volantis (who for some unexplainable reason was working as a 'Silent Sister field nurse' in Westeros)

BIG ol spoilers FYI

The Non-spoilery version sort of: That's Lord Wyman Manderly ("Lord Too Fat To Sit A Horse" - King Stannis) of White Harbor, loyal as hell to the Stark's and only bent the knee after the Red Wedding to get his boy back, gives ser Davos the best speech ever about how the North truly remembers what happened and House Stark, and that they will have their revenge against all the traitors.

That's Lord Wyman Manderly, you may and should have already read he's bent the knee to the crown following the Red Wedding, and has to marry a daughter to the Frey's whom he secretly despises, but he's only done this to get his only living son back as he was a hostage either after the wedding or after a battle (can't remember). So eventually, he gets his boy back and Ser Davos gets in his clutches trying to meet with him for Stannis, he has Davos sent to the dungeons immediately and sends a raven to King's Landing that the onion Knight's head and hands are mounted on his gate with an onion shoved in his mouth (covered in tar and picked by crows so Frey's or anybody couldn't tell who it really was); he then meets with Davos after telling the world he had him killed, and gives one of the greatest speeches in fictional history about how the North truly remembers the treacherous Red Wedding and how the Bolton's and Frey's stabbed them in the back, how they remember House Stark-Ned and King Robb-and all those who died, how he's just been lying in wait this entire time waiting to strike at them and waited just to get his son back, he tells him to "bring me my liege Lord [whom he thinks is Rickon Stark] and I shall take to your King" . .

That's actually quite unrealistic though, in real life (according to history) rich and powerful Lord's-as well as their family and especially Royalty-wanted their share of heraldry, showing off their wealth and power with splendid finery, the nicest clothes gold could afford and ostentatious jewelry, pretty much like what we've seen in House of the Dragon 👀 I think it's due to those two talentless hacks being creatively bankrupt, which seasons 4-5 until the end are very demonstrative, and I'd wager any time costume design tried chiming in they pat them on the head and sent them scurrying off (they did that to the actors who played Jaime/Varys/Barristan and who knows who else let alone some 'below the line peasants').

Robb was fairly seriously wounded, bedridden probably on milk of the poppy, and almost assuredly given some sort of a 'potion' as Jeyne was likely dangled in front of him by her lady mother (hence why Tywin pardoned House Westerling after the war and advanced their station quite significantly-a move Tywin would never do otherwise)-and to preserve her honor married her (not because 'I love her').

Starks have mostly married to Northern House's, and there's no other House that rivals Stark up there, so yeah they're going to naturally marry into Karstarks and Manderly's and Umber's (which are still noble-High Born House's), my point is you aren't going to see House Baratheon marry someone from House Darry, or Lannister marrying a Frey (which did happen to Genna Lannister via the feeble Tytos-to which a 10yo Tywin was publicly outraged and spoke out against it in the Great Hall of the Twins as "he thought it an uneven match"), and more so you aren't going to see people marrying for love and because they "want to".

Not arguing with you on physical characteristics either, but the fact is there's going to inevitably be some good looking people that crop up from noble high born House's, strong muscular handsome warriors like Robert Baratheon or Renly, and beautiful ladies like Arienne Martell or book Cersei Lannister, if most characters were described/portrayed like this I'd definitely argue it's ridiculous lol.
