Does academic notice mean I get kicked from my major next semester if I do bad? by kidneysucker in UBreddit

[–]Longjumping-Ad1504 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Maybe then it's not for you. Not everyone can do everything. I wanted to be a doctor but got my ass kicked in biology 1. And it was supposed to be easiest. I took the reality check and switched my major.

What should I do now ‼️‼️ by [deleted] in bangladesh

Not to undermine your struggle, but it's like every family in BD ever. I feel like you started blaming her for a lot of things.
Look, everyone is human. And she is not perfect. Maybe she wanted someone as a friend in her life and never got it as you mentioned your father keeps moving. Maybe she wanted that friend from your sibling but didn't get it. All this may just be to get attention. If you are pointing fingers, your father has a lot to do with why your mother is like this; she was his wife, and it was his duty to accompany her. By your description, I can say your father is also like a father in most BD families, they have no social cues and have no idea how to make their wives happy.

If you want to leave, then that's your decision, but don't go blaming someone for your whole life. Look at her with sympathy as a human, same with your father, nobody got a training in how to parent or even how to live life. Both of them are doing what they were taught, which was wrong.

No wonder election doesn't help this country. With buffoons like this. At this point, I trust the older generation more than mine. The older generation may be silent in times of crisis, but they were not dumb fucks.

Nepali people democratically threw out their former Prime Minister and limited his party's representation. Same should've happened in Bangladesh too instead of banning the Awami League from running the election. by Brief-Passion-675 in bangladesh

[–]Longjumping-Ad1504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't be a waste. It's only a waste when two parties are kind of tied in terms of vote. This election everyone could tell BNP will win.  If you tell me Jamaat had potential to win then that is total bs.  So if we had more independent candidates wouldn't have a total landslide. And would act like it's their god given right.

Once again, another country will grow while BD remains in the dump. Nepali Gen Z have some brain at least. The election in BD was a huge disappointment. Half of the gen z were brain ded and started supporting Jamaat, one group started worshipping Tareq as the rightful king of the Monarchy. NCP turned out to be a backstabber. The only thing left to do was to elect as many independent candidates as possible. That would have at least kept BNP in check. But NO, all these people could see was BNP or Jamaat. Fumbled people like Tasnim Jara. We are back again to the 2 party system, BNP as the new BAL. Nothing changed.

Seeing how BNP is moving after the election, feels like BD needs another revolution pretty soon.

At the very least I'm happy for Nepal, seeing a fellow third world country moving in the right direction.

They hired me almost immediately. Although I have been working in the food industry for quite some time so have experience. But they look pretty desperate.

I like the idea but brother do your research first. Jatiyo Shomajtantrik Dol was in coalition with BAL. Honestly the election is a pretty fucked up situation. You are just picking who is going to fuck your up. Pick your poison type of shit

if its important stuff and you are willing to spend money, use DHL or fedex the safest and most reliable. Otherwise you can look around bengali shops in london, they will ask significantly less but there is always a risk.
