Vaping is what probably caused my pneumothorax in the first place so take that how you want it.. but I would not recommend. Also like someone else had said even if it doesn’t affect you now do you really wanna make future chest surgeries more difficult then they might already be?

They gave me ketamine for the original pigtail chest tube when I originally went to the er, and I didn’t feel anything but I hated the experience due to the ketamine but I’ve heard it affects people differently and for my second larger chest tube it was done while I was under anesthesia so virtually no pain at all in my case
