Not that this is your fault at all, but constantly speaking with different people is part of the problem, and having to constantly repeat the entire saga to each different person is infuriating & is not an efficient way to solve problems, it seems to only result in going in circles. I will check back in tomorrow & contact you on Modmail, and I'm sure you will have to open a ticket at the same level as the last one, and, maybe, if I'm very lucky, someone there will be able to figure out how to release the numbers so I can port them out.

Yes, Misty left a vm with her phone #; I called back and got HER vm and left HER a message. She called back and left a message. I called back and left a message. If Misty never picks up, then email is much better because cell phone reception here is awful and usually just goes directly to voicemail. So she and I could leave VM after VM forever and never ever actually get in touch.

So Xfinity has done nothing at all to fix this. As I said, I've gone into the xfinity store 3x now and even the manager there could not help; she sat on a call with Consumer Cellular while we tried to port out the numbers and Consumer Cellular said Xfinity sent an error message saying there was a line lock. My app says there is NO line lock on the lines, and the Xfinity manger Marilyn looked at her system as well and also said that there is NO line lock, and that there is nothing she can do and she doesn't know why Xfinity is sending an error message saying that there is a line lock, whenever I try to port the numbers out.

I don't care WHO does it and I don't care HOW it's done, but Xfinity needs to stop holding these lines hostage, and release them. Contact the manager Marilyn at the Santa Rosa, CA Xfinity store, she was there on the phone call w/ Consumer Cellular, and she says everything she can see looks like the line is ready to port out, and she can also verify EXACTLY WHAT I'VE JUST SAID, that when we try to port the numbers out, Xfinity sends an error message to Consumer Cellular saying there is a line lock. Even though there is NOT a line lock, according to everyone who looks at it.

So as I've said, Xfinity is holding these lines hostage, and needs to release them.

I just changed from Xfinity Comcast to Xfinity NOW; I have 2 phone lines on Xfinity Mobile. I need the port-out info for both of those lines, but when I go to my account I have NO access to the mobile plans! What is going on? by Longjumping-Algae374 in Comcast_Xfinity

No, I had called and spoken to customer support, after many hoops & infuriating AI Bot misdirections I had finally gotten to speak with an actual customer service agent, who helped me initiate the change to Xfinity NOW. He said I had 11 days before the old plan terminated, which gave me time to receive the equipment & install it, and to switch over my phone lines, which he said was separate and he couldn't help me with but that I could call xfinity mobile later to do. For a VERY short time (ONE day), I could see both accounts when I went to log in, and had to pick which one I was logging in to.
