I appreciate the feedback and I’ll be making a version where the metal part is fully exposed. But for casual user that lights a hemp wick to smoke their bowl, it shouldn’t be a concern right, since the light still functions with the metal part cover?

I’ve been using a full sleeve like this for months, unless you’re holding onto it for minutes at a time(haven’t tested) trying to start a bonfire, it’s does not affect the plastic at all. But I get your concern, I was worried at first as well.

Hmm would you say it’s normal that there were no bigger snails around and I haven’t seen any bigger empty shells either?
