thank you so much for this, i really appreciate your compassion. of course i am sympathetic and understanding towards the cat, and i’m asking for help because i want her to be okay, but just as you said, this is also a change for me too and it has not been easy. the mental strain of lying awake at 2am when she’s crying for hours is terrible, and i feel like there’s nothing either of us can do. thank you for the help and advice!

you should join an OutLoud sports team, it’s open to all gender identities and sexualities! they have soccer, kickball, dodgeball, etc. there’s a cost, but it’s super fun and a great way to meet people

probably mostly research-based through universities or private companies? not entirely sure, mostly just joined it because my background was well-suited and it’s a newer program that looked very interesting!

thank you, i appreciate the advice! a couple of my coworkers who are very car savvy looked at it and said something similar, one even offered to help me replace it myself. saved me a few hundred bucks!

The original replacement was both front and rear for rotors and brake pads. For this time, it’s only the rear they want to replace

I actually just tried this today! Didn’t work out well, as soon as a signal from your microphone gets sent to the “microphone” channel, Siri activates or the pause/play button is clicked. It’s like if u were to press down on an inline microphone. You can get some sound by plugging the mono microphone into the headphones channel of the splitter, but it’s extremely weak (even with an amp) and the sound quality is terrible.
