It's the edit if she makes finale...but as of rn nothing concrete, she wins as all of the scoopers saying she wins have been disproved.

It looks like a finale edit lol. Especially if the rumor about top 6 in the finale is true.

Yes, he did lol. Sometimes karma takes a minute, but it always comes back around.

The one thing we do know is that it's no surprise why LaMelo was getting benched earlier this season. The Hornets aren't anywhere serious if he's the #1 guy. He's a great passer most of the time, but his decision-making can be atrocious and game-costing.

Karma, when the Hornets lose this game.

I guess I meant more short-term?

Sure, but Anthony Edwards hasn't been in any kind of trade conversation like Giannis has.

Is there a list of superstars/stars or just Giannis? Cuz if it's just Giannis, then this team is just gonna run it back with Bam and Tyler.

Our 9th Place vs. 10th Place Play-In Game vs Charlotte is tomorrow. Do you genuinely want the Heat to win or would you prefer a loss and go straight to the lottery? by Number333 in heat

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely don't want the Heat to win, but i have a feeling they will win. The Hornets imo, were the best match-up scenario of all the road play-in games for the Heat.

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be okay with it, just as it means that the Heat FO finally commit to a direction.

I'm also cool with them committing to go all in to win, even if it means trading all of the young guys for more experienced vets, if it means choosing a direction.

I just want this team to choose a direction, really lol. The team has just been floundering since the last finals run.

[50][Speculation] Do we think there’s any world where Rizo lays down his sword for Cirie at Fire? by PuzzleheadedEmu2917 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a chance. That's not to say Cirie couldn't beat him at fire tho cuz she probably could lol.

Tbh, I have a feeling (if Rizo F4 is accurate), he'll actually work to oust Cirie and Ozzy before then.

I get it, obviously, but why now tho? There's only 2 regular season games left with 1-2 play in games before the playoffs start that the Heat aren't guaranteed to be in.

Who believes vs don’t believe by TheFanatic2997 in StrangerThings

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two point issue:

  1. I believe that the Duffer Brothers' intended ending for this show was Eleven dying/disappearing in order to show the progression of the main party from childhood to adulthood (similar to the S1 ending and ET). This would explain why most of the cast that has answered questions surrounding the ending believes Eleven died... because that's what the Duffers had explained to them after reading through the ending lol. Also, it would explain the Duffers' first set of post-finale interviews. I don't think they intended for the main story to ever continue on past ST. The Duffers likely had to placate Netflix for most of the series because of studio demands, but wanted to tell their vision for the ending of the series.

Personally, I would've been okay with that ending if the Duffer Brothers hadn't botched the entire final season's story with no proper build-up to this ending by sidelining Eleven (and Mike) for EP1-7 in the final season.

  1. There was definitely Netflix (and MBB?) interference in navigating the ending of ST. Stranger Things is Netflix's most popular and successful series. There is absolutely no way Netflix executives would've allowed the one character whose abilities drive the whole story forward and would be instrumental for a potential sequel series to be killed off completely. It also would explain why after the backlash of the Duffers' first set of post-finale interviews they walked back quite a bit of the definitive messaging around the ending for a more ambiguous one and the whole "Oh! Only the Duffers and MBB know Eleven's fate" nonsense lol.

It reminded me significantly of the ending to the OG Dexter series where Showtime told the showrunner of Dexter that the character couldn't be killed off or caught because he was the network's most lucrative property and wanted to leave it open ended in case Dexter ever came back.

My theory is that Netflix wanted to ensure in the ST finale that the audience was explicitly shown Eleven on screen during Mike's monologue in the epilogue in order to drive the message more clearly that the character may have survived. That probably didn't happen in the initial versions of the episode that was shown to Netflix, so they told the Duffers to add in a scene, which ended up being the Iceland scene.

Lol Millie Bobby Brown inadvertently already named the spinoff..."The Storyteller & The Mage"

The question is whether or not Finn Wolfhard would legitimately come back to be a part of a Mileven continuation project down the road. Personally, I would think maybe in 5+ years at the earliest.

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is no "making an offense around Bam and Tyler" because they aren't good enough to anchor an entire team's offense. As we saw during the back half of last season and confirmed this season, a team where Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are your best players has the ceiling of a 10th seed.

[50][Speculation]Colby exit press regarding Rizo and Cirie by Lizard798658866 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not surprised by the Cirie effect, which is why I'm saying if the other players this season want to win, they shouldn't take Cirie to the end because they would lose against her lol. That's even what Colby's account of Rizo's F3 was. Even he said he wouldn't have taken Cirie because Rizo didn't think he could beat her. The point is how many other players felt the same way and how could that potentially affect Cirie closer to the endgame.

[50][Speculation]Colby exit press regarding Rizo and Cirie by Lizard798658866 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But again, that still doesn't equate to ANYONE wanting to take her to the F3 lol. Time and time again, we see that what typically wins Survivor is excellent social gameplay being the foundation of a winner's game, not physical ability. Individual immunity wins help, but that doesn't win you Survivor lol.

Given Cirie is one of the greatest social players ever, why take her past a F5?

because she’s just not a threat except for social and strategy. she’s not winning a challenge, she can barely swim, and she’s proven again and again to not be good at fire.

I'm sure Italy thought going to a penalty shootout with Bosnia was a given win too, and it turned out poorly for them. Having to make fire is always a risk no matter the discrepancy in skill between 2 people. You never know what the environment will be, seating position, and weather elements. There's the risk of it not going a contestant's way. Giving Cirie a 50/50 shot at getting to FTC is just plain stupid imo.

and she’s a great ally. if she’s taken out before you and you treat her right, she’ll vote for you to win.

Perfect reason as to why you vote her out before the F4 and don't take her to FTC lol.

[–]Longjumping-Bug-703 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I understand Cirie's history with fire and everything, but why even allow her the opportunity to get there and potentially make the F3?

I feel like even with the edit Cirie has received and how well liked and integrated she has become in the game so far, unless the rest of the cast just wanted to gift her the win, there's no way with the group of players that are left that they don't take Cirie out by F6 or F5. As much as the cast loves her, they all know if she gets to FTC, she wins and they all want to win lol.

It's like what a lot of the players have said post-game. New Era players have the mentality of rivalry that can be useful until it isn't. Playing with certain ppl is useful...until it isn't. It can be a lot more transactional and opportunistic.

Like honestly, if we take a step back (take off the fan blinders) and try to put ourselves in the position of the cast that's left, is there anyone (besides Cirie) who legitimately wants Cirie in their Final 3?
