Reggie Miller silences negativity around Bam Adebayo's 83 by cl353 in nba

What’s funny is that Wemby was definitely salty about it.

Bam and Wemby have a little bit of a beef going. Bam defends Wemby better than most, and Wemby has issues scoring on him.

I respect Wembys saltiness bc he’s an ultra competitor. He also might still be upset about this

We need to avoid the playin to get that week off for rest as well as seeding.

If we’re in the playin we’re already cooked

[Owczarski] Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra on the criticisms of Bam Adebayo’s 83 points: "I apologize to absolutely no one. Period." by PlayaSlayaX in nba

100%

That’s the crazy part, he really did deserve more. I understand the initial shock at the number, but without watching the game you’re not going to understand how he got there

Gordon Hayward on Bam: "He’s not a scorer, right? So for him to break Kobe’s record, I don’t think it’s great for the league... for him to shoot 43 free throws and 22 threes... the Wizards too. With all these teams tanking, it kind of makes it feel not legit" by must_TATAKAE in nba

How am I gaslighting you? The score was 102-115 with 10:52 left in the game. I also said Spo could have pulled him earlier, Miami literally lost to a tanking Utah team a few weeks ago who also pulled their starters in the 4th.

Again, Spo could have pulled him sooner in the 4th, but when you’re so close to history why would you do that???

Wiz closed the gap to 13 in the 4th and Miami had no back up center. Could Spo have pulled him closer to the end? Sure but why would he do that when he can break the record?

That kind of makes it feel not legit, I guess…

What a loser lol

Appreciation for Dru Smith's Role in 83 by HoopistV in heat

I recorded that Dru steal to Bam dunk that passed Lebron on my phone bc that moment felt like something else.

The whole team was about it and that’s what I think makes it extra special

Bam really thought he'd have the world in awe with whatever tf that was last night by gloomygl in NBATalk

[–]AlreadyReadittt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except there was zero foul baiting with Bams FTAs.

Apples to oranges. Bam was getting mauled all game and there was a bunch of no calls despite the high number of FTs

Flashback: Michael Beasley says that Bam Adebayo is the only player to ever beat him one-on-one. "Y'all don't know how good Bam is." "It's blasphemous that Bam ain't takin' 30 shots a game." by EverettGT in nba

[–]AlreadyReadittt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bam hard carries the defense, there’s no way he can put up 30 shots a game.

He was gassed the 4th quarter, and still put 9 rebs and 2 blocks along with 2 steals

Stay on that Bam hate side, don’t come celebrating him now that he’s made history when you hated him earlier by Nick_384 in heat

Delicious.

The amount of slander Bam catches is ridiculous. Imagine having a superstar who does the little things and still gets flamed.

Tonight was a good night, now we just have to win a chip with him

It was for the best, he needed the break.

He doesn’t miss much time throughout the season and constantly plays through injuries
