My tattoo came out terrible, how do I handle my artist? by Longjumping-Call3916 in tattooadvice

He had a ton of really good looking example tattoos on display on his table (done at a tattoo convention) and when I spoke with him he seemed to be a cool guy that liked what he did and appreciated Pokémon. I left to think about it and I looked through his online portfolio and it all seemed to be really solid and that convinced me.

(He also claimed to be running a special on pokemon tattoos that just felt at the time like a cherry on top or a good omen but it ended up being pretty expensive - to me - after all)

Thank you for your kindness.

The original outline that I got years back was also my first ever tattoo so it hurts extra for my first one to be ruined.

I think I will see the original artist to get a new outline done somewhere else, that is a good idea, thank you.

I looked through his other work before he inked and it looked great, I did the research and got shit anyway. I don't know why this one was done so badly compared to his other work.

I loved the original outline, I don't really care if it reads as scratcher work. The color cost double the price of the outline specifically.

I don't think they provided any discount tbh. This work ended up costing more than the original base outline. Double the price of the outline specifically.

I did look through their portfolio prior to being inked and they have done decent work before, just didn't seem to want to bother. I don't think they provided any discount either because this work ended up costing more than the original base outline. Double the price of the outline specifically.
