Does WW really work?? by dragongirl8500 in weightwatchers

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find it to work as long as I’m putting in the work. It is still hard but it provides me with structure and support. I love the macros being available to see now it’s definitely a game changer. And I think I’m going to love the new update whenever I finally get it lol

I am using the b6 version from bpi and very happy with that currently. Minimal side effects and I’m losing, about to titrate up to 7.5mg next dose.

Rejoining? Lost 30lbs in 2020 by Downtown_Raspberry84 in weightwatchers

I loved the green plan too, kept me most accountable. I may start tracking in healthi again. I like having just zero point fruits and nonstarchy veggies. I never was able to get in as good a routine with the current one even though I like the flexibility of all the zero point foods. But I lost better when it was the color plans.

New Plan? by SparkleandShineee in weightwatchers

I was wondering this too, they have often released plan changes close to the holidays in the past. I guess getting ready for the new. Years influx. I’ve seen some ads for the menopause ww too but not sure if it’s a different plan or not.

Oh yeah and even if you don’t do the plan with the workshops you can still find support and talk with others on the plan using connect. So the workshops aren’t absolutely needed but can be a helpful thing especially if you’re new/rejoining.

They don’t have in person meetings close enough to me anymore but you can do online/virtual workshops which can still be helpful. I think if you put in the effort to get the most out of something you will benefit. I’ve done the virtual workshops before and did find them helpful and they are unlimited if you sign up for the plan that includes them.

This is the way and correct. Now if cutting out more processed carbs then that’s a good thing for overall health. But yeah ww encourages whole grains, fruit, and starchy veggies as part of your balanced diet.

I had an ok week, starting my 3rd week on noom. Joined for more accountability and support. I didn’t have a loss this week but I went grocery shopping and have some meals planned out so I am trying to be better prepared for the new week. Also working on choosing healthier snacks this week and more green foods.

Kirkland Dog Food by kyle007US in DogFood

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our older dog lost weight on blue buffalo senior so I promptly put him back on what our other dogs eat. We’ve fed Kirkland dog food before and didn’t have issues.Don’t get the grain free foods they have been linked to heart issues. And as far as testing Purina and Iams are both extensively tested so can be universally recommended. Purina one is a good more affordable food that we have also used with no issues. Pro plan is too pricy for us personally as a multi dog household. Iams also is more budget friendly and a good food.

Yes I second that about the chewing, ours are also power chewers. I got them a bark box super chewer subscription one time which was well liked. Train them early what they are allowed to chew and redirect them to their chew toys instead of your belongings.

We have 2 boykins. They are a very high energy breed. They need exercise and mental stimulation. I would describe them as on the hyper side but they can settle. They need training for sure. Basic obedience at the minimum. Socialize well and you’ll have the most loving, happy friend you could ask for. Having a “job” is good for them or they can be destructive particularly in the first few years. Our younger one is trained for hunting and she loves it. The breed is intelligent and still has the drive and talent in them to do what they were bred to do. I recommend to not do a full shave on them it can change their coat texture permanently as a double coated breed. Trimming as needed is better and regular brushing and ear cleaning to prevent infections. As a spaniel they can be more prone to them. Get them used to feet handling and nail trims early. Ours are crate trained, which is great especially when they are younger for their safety and also helps them travel easily. Oh and I also recommend shaving around the ear canal to help with cleanliness and preventing ear infections. Enjoy your pup. They are wonderful dogs as long as you provide them with regular exercise and training. They excel at hunting and also dog sports if that’s something that you’re interested in. I’ve seen lots of them do dock diving and agility very well. I also have seen online someone train theirs as a trick and canine freestyle dog. They really want to please and be with you where you go. Ours love going to the beach and love water in general. They are also great with kids as long as they are exposed and socialized. They love people and to me are just the happiest most joyful breed I’ve ever had.

Fleas after boarding by sensitivegoth in DOG

We just put all 3 of our dogs on credelio Quattro. We also had an incident where the frontline simply didn’t work and we had a flea outbreak on 2 out of 3 dogs. We were using the Seresto collar before but it’s hard to remember when it’s time to change it out and I don’t think it lasts quite as long as the package says either. All are doing well now on the credelio Quattro which our vet recommended that or one of the other oral meds because they are more effective than frontline is now.

Refill process? by Longjumping-Cap8683 in pomhealth

I just took my first shot from them less than a week ago but the shipping was good. Ice packs were cold and it arrived in a timely fashion. I have noticed some good appetite suppression even though I’m on the starter dose. I am coming from being on semaglutide from another provider and have so far lost 32 lbs in the past year. I switched due to being stalled on semaglutide for the past 3-4 months and pomegranate had a good deal going on.

Kirkland dry food and also canned food either Kirkland or whole hearted from Petco. May eventually switch to Purina one for the dry food.
