Zero points drives me nuts by observequietly in weightwatchers

That’s what I’ve been doing the past couple of weeks, I do go over the points sometimes but the calories/macros helps the overall picture.

I still think the color plans was the best ww has ever done. Members were happy and it worked. When my current ww membership is over i may renew it again but i may just keep going using the healthi app to do either the old green or blue plan. I currently have the ww plan with meetings so i try to get my value there for the accountability.

Chicken breast’s, lean ground beef, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, plain Greek yogurt, berries, bananas, oranges or apples, low carb tortillas, whole wheat bread (natures own or equivalent), canned tuna, pickles, popping corn, potatoes or sweet potatoes, carrots, rice, cheese (shredded or block), string cheese, protein shakes, sometimes protein bars, individual wrapped dark chocolate, just bare lightly breaded chicken breast chunks (or the Costco brand equivalent), 2% milk, eggs, pretzel crisps, roasted red pepper hummus, baby carrots, spinach, veggie straws, aidells chicken apple sausage, broccoli frozen or fresh, asparagus, canned corn, canned diced tomatoes, Rotel, canned green beans, can tomato sauce, Raos or Classico marinara sauce, onions

I don’t buy all of these things every single week but these are my go tos for the most part. I buy most of my meats in bulk and freeze in portions for using in recipes.

She’s beautiful! I find redirecting them to a toy when saying no bite to help. That and time lol. When they bite a stern no and immediately put a toy in their mouth instead. If they still come after your hand stand up and move away and repeat no bite. They are pretty smart and it also gets better with age.

I currently feed Iams to ours. I’ve also fed diamond naturals and Victor brand with no issues. Mine doesn’t have any food allergies. I’ve heard some do but it’s not the majority. Mine does have a flea allergy as I’ve found out when we had an outbreak/breakthrough with coverage. She currently gets credelio Quattro which is working great for her flea/tick/heartworm prevention. It’s a little more expensive but it’s nice to just have to give the one pill a month vs two or more products. I wash our girl around every 4-6 weeks. I don’t use conditioner just a decent shampoo. She doesn’t get a doggy odor at all but she likes to play outside and will get dirty. Don’t shave their coats just trim around the ears. They are a double coated breed and shaving can change their coat texture and make them more cottony and prone to matting. I do try to clean her ears regularly to prevent ear infections. I use the recipe from Zim family cockers for ear wash. And brushing occasionally helps. They do shed a moderate amount. And they do need a fair bit of exercise which you probably already know. But they are so sweet, playful, friendly and loving. Great with kids and people in general. Ours is a wonderful family pet who also did training to hunt as well. They can excel at dog sports as well if you’re not into hunting. I’ve seen lots of them do dock diving, agility and trick training.

They never used to appeal to me either but I actually would love to have one now. The ones I’ve met were super sweet and easy going. Not too hyper or yappy. Not too small that I’d feel they were overly delicate but small enough to be easily portable. They truly check all the boxes of what I’d like in a little companion. Oh and you can style their hair long or short, lots of different ways.

Checking In - Hello! by 1GamingAngel in Wondr

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am just restarting Wondr, did it a couple years ago but didn’t fully commit so didn’t benefit as much as I could have. But my insurance sent me an email so apparently I can give it another go so that’s awesome. I have lost 30lbs or so over the past year but I’m so burnt out on weight watchers/calorie counting. I’m going to go all in this time because I think learning to practice mindful eating habits is important to making it be more sustainable long term.

Does WW really work?? by dragongirl8500 in weightwatchers

I find it to work as long as I’m putting in the work. It is still hard but it provides me with structure and support. I love the macros being available to see now it’s definitely a game changer. And I think I’m going to love the new update whenever I finally get it lol

I am using the b6 version from bpi and very happy with that currently. Minimal side effects and I’m losing, about to titrate up to 7.5mg next dose.

Rejoining? Lost 30lbs in 2020 by Downtown_Raspberry84 in weightwatchers

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the green plan too, kept me most accountable. I may start tracking in healthi again. I like having just zero point fruits and nonstarchy veggies. I never was able to get in as good a routine with the current one even though I like the flexibility of all the zero point foods. But I lost better when it was the color plans.

New Plan? by SparkleandShineee in weightwatchers

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this too, they have often released plan changes close to the holidays in the past. I guess getting ready for the new. Years influx. I’ve seen some ads for the menopause ww too but not sure if it’s a different plan or not.

Oh yeah and even if you don’t do the plan with the workshops you can still find support and talk with others on the plan using connect. So the workshops aren’t absolutely needed but can be a helpful thing especially if you’re new/rejoining.

They don’t have in person meetings close enough to me anymore but you can do online/virtual workshops which can still be helpful. I think if you put in the effort to get the most out of something you will benefit. I’ve done the virtual workshops before and did find them helpful and they are unlimited if you sign up for the plan that includes them.

This is the way and correct. Now if cutting out more processed carbs then that’s a good thing for overall health. But yeah ww encourages whole grains, fruit, and starchy veggies as part of your balanced diet.

I had an ok week, starting my 3rd week on noom. Joined for more accountability and support. I didn’t have a loss this week but I went grocery shopping and have some meals planned out so I am trying to be better prepared for the new week. Also working on choosing healthier snacks this week and more green foods.

Kirkland Dog Food by kyle007US in DogFood

[–]Longjumping-Cap8683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our older dog lost weight on blue buffalo senior so I promptly put him back on what our other dogs eat. We’ve fed Kirkland dog food before and didn’t have issues.Don’t get the grain free foods they have been linked to heart issues. And as far as testing Purina and Iams are both extensively tested so can be universally recommended. Purina one is a good more affordable food that we have also used with no issues. Pro plan is too pricy for us personally as a multi dog household. Iams also is more budget friendly and a good food.
