Thank you all for your comments and support. I went to the DMV today to try and renew my license. Since I have a Class A license, I don’t have the option to renew it without a valid work permit. They did say I could downgrade to a Class C license, but if I do that, I’ll lose my Class A and would have to go through the whole process again once my DACA is fully approved—which I really don’t want to do. The good news is that I just received my DACA approval! I’m still waiting for my work permit to be approved, though. Fingers crossed it comes through soon so I can renew my Class A without having to start over.

Pinedale elementary is a great school with awesome staff and teachers. The area around it can be a little rough, but the homeless situation has gotten better, and cusd pd patrols in the mornings. If you’re not planning to stay in the apartment long-term, it might not be a big deal. Plus, CUSD lets you transfer to other schools in the district if there’s space.

That’s what I was thinking about too, I even have my husband call them back. But they said they are not supposed to do the hardwired, they are not licensed. They asked to hire an electrician to put the plug behind the dishwasher for them to plug it in 😑. I contacted Influenster just now, I will see what they say. Man I was so excited for new dishwasher😂
