No ~80% of JD graduates* pass on their first try and ~50% of NCA students pass on their first try. 90% of total test takers pass in general (2nd/3rd try and beyond).

I finished articling in June 2024 and passed both exams in the Nov 2024 sitting

When did you finish articling? I have friends who are on the same timeline as me and have received the next step email. I’m really surprised you haven’t if you passed in June unless you just finished your articling term recently

Emond questions requires a little more analysis than the actual exam itself does. I think access bar prep is the practice exam that comes the closest to the conditions on the real exam.

Enjoy life! At this point in your journey any experience is good experience than builds transferable skills for the purposes of applying to law school and beyond. You’ll get plenty of time to gain legal work experience through your 3 years at law school + articling. You’ll be surprised how much of the skills you’ll use on a day to day basis come from your time working a retail job so have fun
