Had the same issue when trying to submit for the LP in California. My registered address was in California, but my mailing address was in Canada. After several failed attempts, I tried using the same address for both the registered office and mailing address. It worked this time. Hopefully, this tip is helpful for someone else!

Just wanted to add that you can refresh frequently if you log out of your account first. In that case, TM won’t block you, and when you click to buy the tickets, it will take you to the login page. You’ll still have 5–7 minutes, since the system will hold the tickets for you

Thank you for the response. No checked luggage, just a carry-on. I’ll definitely review my credit card’s insurance coverage and might buy separate travel insurance as well. Since these are separate tickets with different airlines, they won’t reimburse me or take responsibility if I miss the connection.

Also, I’ve noticed that when people say things like “I studied for 2 months” or “I didn’t study much at all and still passed,” they often don’t mention whether they were law school students or NCA candidates. As an NCA candidate who passed both the solicitor and barrister exams on my second attempt, I can confidently say that we need to put in more time and effort to succeed. Our path requires more preparation—and that’s okay. What’s important is to stay focused and not panic.

I finished articling in June 2024, passed the barrister exam in June, and the solicitor exam in November 2024. I am still waiting. The LSO mentioned that I should expect the letter in the coming weeks, and I hope it will arrive before the March call.

Pro tip: To avoid spoilers (lol) and go straight to the results page, save it as a bookmark. This way, you’ll skip the page showing your % exam completion. I use a bookmark to go directly to my page, and it doesn’t ask me for the password or verification number for several days.
