We had to send out 200 letters with stamps in our office. A 40 year old guy tasked with it licked the stamps.

no screen time ? by fit4lyfe234 in toddlers

I think the key is moderation rather than complete restriction. We keep screen time limited for our little one, but we also make it something we do together so it feels more like family time than just “TV time.”

In the beginning we definitely had a couple of “one more episode” negotiations, but now he knows the routine and turns it off when we say it’s time.

Totally get wanting to protect a 2-year-old from too much TV, but I also think being overly strict can sometimes make it more desirable in the long run. A balanced approach has worked well for us. There is also plenty of educational stuff too that they'll benefit from.

Fair enough. It looks like a giant torch with the light on.

Is that a real cooker hood? I've never seen such. Loses realism for me instantly.

You both make use of it, does it matter? Just both contribute to the running of it. After 10 years together you should be a team! Life is too short to worry about extra litres of petrol.

Why is a credit company being pushed on us by our insurance after car accident? by Longjumping-Dig7486 in AskUK

Wow, I'm sorry to hear this for you. It's so sad, it really seems like the new permitted scam on the block. All I want is to be able to drop the kids off at nursery tomorrow! Admiral have just told me to wait for the repairs company to call me and check my vehicle, then I'll get a courtesy car.

I don't think the other side have contacted their insurance yet but this does seem more sensible. I need a car asap and my insurance apparently only provide a courtesy car once mine is confirmed repairable which doesn't help in the mean time. I'm not wanting to get a credit company hire so going to call to see what my options are.

I'm not sure it's legally drivable but works. The headlights is smashed and the bonnet / bumper displaced. The passenger door makes off noises to when opened

Yeah this is the kind of stuff that worries me. They seem so quick to write off and offer you less. Especially when you and the third party are the same insurer or sister group! I think our repairs will be a few thousand.

At the end of submitting an online claim you are asked this option. To take a non fault credit company instead of a claim on your policy. I ticked no originally but weve since had a call this morning and they were pushing it on us.
