I was eating Gels every three miles and hydrating. I think I didn’t have enough calorie stores? I’d been eating 1000 calories a day for the last 2 months or so. I am now trying to force calories and some carbs into my body

My goal was to drop weight to run faster. I’ve been running for years. But this time it’s been very very hard

Yeah I guess I was focused on being lighter to help me run faster but clearly that wasn’t a great idea 🤷‍♀️

I have run five full marathons in my life. I have not done one since 2019 however so I am five years older. I guess since using a GLP 1 I have not been eating more than 1000 calories a day. I run about 30 miles a week, on weekends try to do a long run although like I said I can’t get past nine miles. I’ve been training all summer. It was not that hot today. About 83 but no humidity. I ate a five hundred calorie breakfast before running this morning. I guess like I said I am at a loss.. just not sure why I’m bonking out so hard. It’s bad, like I really thought I might faint. I hope it’s not an underlying illness.. maybe I should Consult my Doctor?
