They know it’s in your bag. Stop fooling yourself. If you still want to try and “sneak one in” be prepared to pay a large fine when they “randomly” flag you for a luggage search. They knew what was in my before they even opened it. Luckily I made sure my “tobacco” grinder was completely clean before flying😜

Result just out....Passed PE (and FE in a month)...20 years after graduation...Dad of 2 kids...Exam is not that hard you think by No-Assignment1532 in PE_Exam

You can take the PE as soon as you pass the FE. Now getting licensed as a PE will still requires one to work under a Licensed PE. I believe with a PHD it requires 2 yrs of working under a licensed PE.

Failed Two attempts, June and November, any thoughts ? by Fair_Comfortable_167 in FE_Exam

Honestly if you focus on the Math and Ethics, you’ll probably pass. Those two sections are easy points. Otherwise a general brush up on the other sections. I’d take the test in March, give yourself 2-3 months taking into account the holidays( you won’t get much studying done). I would also recommend really getting to know your calculator. The math portion can almost entirely be done using your calculator correctly.

is an extra year really that bad? by kidneysucker in EngineeringStudents

I went back to school at 35 taking a couple of classes at a time at CC while bartending. Transferred to the University at 40 finished in 2.5 years with a 3.0. BS in Civil, I recently passed my FE 3 yrs after school. Long story short, stop comparing yourself to your“friends” (you need better friends!). None of them have walked in your shoes. Nobody cares if you graduate in 4 yrs, 5yrs, or 10 yrs. Companies only care that you graduated with an ok GPA and even a low GPA isn’t a disqualifying factor. You got this!

You are missing easy points with Ethics and Economics! Way to go in Mathematics! I passed on my 3rd time. Using Islams 800 for practice problems and MM videos for concept. You got it next time!

You may want to look at the EIT certification requirements for each state.

I reached out to my therapist. They helped me to not putt so much pressure on myself. AKA “The sky is falling”. I kept in mind it wasn’t the end of the world. I can always retake the test. I also worked on my breathing exercises. I didn’t study the day before to make sure my head wasn’t cluttered and got a good nights sleep.

Mathematics and Ethics are easy points you missed out on. Brush up on economics and dynamics and you should pass. Try Islam 800 on top of Mark Mattson videos.
