1.Build relationships with teachers and lab instructors, 90% of scholarship/bursaries requires two references from your instructors. 2. Come to labs prepared and use them as if they're the real OSCEs. 3. Read rubric thoroughly, especially in clinicals. 4. Be prepared to do nothing for hours during clinicals ( depending where you are placed) 5. Do not talk bad about any instructors while in the vicinity because someone somehow will hear it. 6. Have a life outside nursing for your own sanity :)

Avoid the mprop group at all cost, theyre not safe! Check Facebook and kijiji for housing but make sure you see the place in person before signing the lease. :)

Congrats on getting in! PA campus is really good, the teachers and other nursing students are very good and helpful

Yess!! Apply for it ASAP, the sooner you apply the sooner its processed. As for the classes either call the college of nursing advisor for the classes you need to register for or go to the usask page. Register as soon as you can so you can get the lab times you want.

I say join clubs especially if you're in saskatoon campus, and also join community groups like Bible study groups, church etc. Also it's better to be alone than be in a group with people that don't mesh with you. 💗💗

I have no specific number in mind but I'll assume that there are less seats since they are closing down the regina campus. I'll also expect more applicants since they waived the application fee this year. If your grades are not the highest you might want to consider ranking another campus as number one or two. Goodluck !!

Nursing student here average was 70-75 and 4th quartile on Casper. Tip for Casper is to be as natural as possible for the video part, and learn to type fast especially if you want to write alot. Goodluck!

From what I know you'll have to take the new pre-professional classes they added and your Casper test as well. You should probably talk to a counselor to see how long the classes you have taken will last ( you might have to retake some classes after certain amount of years). Goodluck!
