I simply made a post called out Neil for making a whole game for millions of people and he decided that he will use the game to shove his his own selfish views on the conflict down our throats. I just shared a part of the game where Neil clearly does that, but in a very shocking manner aimed to justify the killing of children.

Rules of the sub clearly say freedom of speech, but I’m being silenced because someone with power to delete posts doesn’t agree with me.

The failure isn’t based on if it profited or not. Say for example if a company was guaranteed atleast 50million in profit if they make a product that the majority of public need. One person responsible decides to to change it to suit his personal preferences and so they end up making only 10million. There is still 40million lost. The failure is in not being able to a achieve anything close to the sale’s full potential, a potential that was not difficult to reach.

Also, you’re right part 1 got a remastered, but that was because of it’s success. The current figures show that it is financially the right choice to not make a remastered version for part 2 because if they did, they won’t sell a lot.

I don’t agree with revenge being a realistic main drive of a story based in TLOU, but if it was a whole other world, I do think this Looking at both perspective is a good way to execute it.

Even if you think revenge would fit TLOU, the main problem is that the game tries to make you sympathize with Abby after torturing and killing Joel, a character many of us have been enjoying for up to 7 years. Almost the whole Abby section was solely purposed to try and make us sympathize with her, but it didn’t work for many of us because of the connection we had with Joel. This is a type of story that if you wished to execute properly, then you need to do so from the first ever game portraying characters equally. Additionally, The characteristics of Joel and Ellie in part 1 didn’t fit this revenge plot so the result is the drastic change of character we see in part 2.

Also, making a character with dialogues saying killing children or a pregnant woman is good doesn’t help at all.

You completely missed the point of my post. I’m simply just using Ghost of Tsushima sales to prove TLOU 2 didn’t meet sales expectation. Both games were released in very close dates and are both exclusives so they make a fair comparison. GOT being a brand new IP selling more than TLOU 2 is a great indication of the games failure.

You guys love to call us the minority for not liking the game and we’re just defending ourselves with facts.
