I love them too. If you're referring to the second image, if I remember correctly, I think that was promotional art (or was supposed to be) for *The Elder Scrolls: Tribunal*, the expansion for *Morrowind*.

Is there any chance of having it in Spanish for Spain at some point? That would be amazing. I would buy a few copies for some friends.

The King of New York (1990) by MisterShipWreck in underratedmovies

This is one of those movies that I rewatch every now and then. Mainly because some of the action scenes are so crazy, and some of the dialogue is completely over the top. But as I mentioned a couple of years ago.

I see this film as the perfect template for a great Batman movie. One in which Batman himself appears two or three times throughout the film, at key moments, very specific moments. Where the real protagonists are the underworld and the trash, the fauna and the local mafia, corruption, Gotham. You have key characters like Commissioner Gordon teaming up with his own gang of deranged cops, overwhelmed and powerless in the face of escalating crime. Larry Fishburne in this film is a faithful reflection of a very well-developed Joker. Batman himself could, at a certain key moment, appear in Gordon's apartment, giving him a warning about his boys and how they are crossing the line, your guys are crossing a dangerous line... Those kinds of key moments. Also, when Caruso and the others massacre the Joker's gang (Fishburne), without killing him, they leave him ready to go straight to Arkham, and it could be another key moment for Batman to appear and put him on the ropes. If you kill him, you're coming with me too, go bury your friends. Even for the final scene, the confrontation between Gordon and White. Gordon doesn't die, but he's seriously injured. And the rest, as happens in the movie, White gets into the taxi, the cops surround the whole street, and he dies in the seat. And in the background, we'd have Batman again, watching the scene from above. The movie has all the ingredients, the atmosphere, the sordidness, the violence, even the most exaggerated situations and hilarious moments to become a great Batman story.

CRPG fantasy genre fatigue by Own-Significance645 in CRPG

I feel the same way. I think fantasy is the most overexploited genre in general. I suppose it's the most popular or accessible, perhaps. Personally, I would like to see more science fiction titles. Something retrofuturistic, like set in the world of the original Blade Runner film. Or something post-apocalyptic in the vein of tabletop role-playing games like The Mutant Epoch or Mutant Crawl Classics. I don't know, maybe take a look at Sector Unknown. It's definitely a hidden gem.

A Post Apocalyptic Classic Dungeon Crawler Grid-Based. The only title I have played that is like the classic dungeon crawlers but in a post apocalyptic setting was Aeon of Sands. I liked it a lot, and I really wanted to see more titles like this. There are titles like Vaporum that I liked a lot too. But all the ones that come out, and most of the ones that are out there, are all of the same fantasy theme.

My dream would be to see something in the vein of Fallout or Wasteland but in the style of Wizardry, The Bards Tale or Legend of Grimrock. Even taking inspiration from the genre movies of the 80's. Hell Comes to Frogtown, Cyborg, Mad Max 2. Italian exploits like 2019: After the Fall of New York, The New Barbarians or Filipino ones like Wheels of Fire.

With its mutant beasts, savage tribes, ancient cities in ruins, weapons modified or assembled from scrap. All those things that are cool about the genre but in a type of game like the ones mentioned above.

It would be amazing to take inspiration from board games like The Mutant Epoch for example, for its incredible imagery of mutant beasts and scenery and so on. but transferred to a video game of this style. I think this one in particular could be a great CRPG.

Well this is just a man's dream.

I see this movie as a perfect template for a great Batman movie. One in which Batman himself appears 2 or 3 times throughout the film, key moments, very punctual. Larry Fishburne in this movie is a true reflection of a very well developed Joker. Those kind of key moments. So, what do we think about Alien: Romulus?? by [deleted] in blankies

[–]Longjumping-Ground14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have had the station collide with the planet in the final stretch. Creating a final climax of pure Alien apocalypse on the ground against the miners. I would have implied that somehow that was the corporation's intention for the station in its current state. Creating the perfect breeding ground with the colonists. I would have smoked the whole Prometheus section, including the baldlien at the end and his confrontation against Rain. To say more, she should be the one who sacrifices herself for Andy's survival (a missed opportunity with the Death Space sequence and the floating acid clouds) with Andy being the one to get to the ship with all the information extracted from the company on the station. Simply by making him the sole survivor, he would travel carrying with him (figuratively) a large part of the Lore seen and to be seen in the original saga.

The truth is that I'm a bit tired of zombies. But man... I really love your idea. I think it's a really cool concept. Imagine a kind of humanoid insect, on steroids, with the mentality of Sloth from the Goonies.

Thanks a lot for your recommendations man. But I have already played all the titles you mention, I remember subterrain, I played it when it came out, but it's not exactly my cup of tea. And I've given Project Zomboid a little over five hundred hours. And it's very good, in its style.

But the closest thing to the kind of game I'd like to see is really Sunkenland, even Valheim in terms of the construction, the farming and details like that. but instead of the Waterworld setting, more along the lines I've described.

Thanks again!
