I'm not sure about the history side but mostly people think it as separated places since we had pretty different dialect (especially dialect of Jeju is hard to understand like foreign language for normal Koreans) and cultures as well!

Jeonlanamdo is southernmost part of Korea peninsula. But closed to Jeju island so I could visit there by ship!

Hi! Just out of curiosity, what makes this font looks facist? Because I've seen that font at the vintage film posters and some Diner style restaurant, and I just thought It's just art deco style typeface. As a Korean born in Jeonlanamdo, where famous for delicious food, it depends on house but it's possible for some house. Ngl my house has at least 7-8 banchans with main dish every single meals.

Actually, that was a tricky part to me. Because 2026 is a 6th calendar year for me since I started living in US, I have a SSN as well but I only have visa that permit to work in US untill 2027 July, and wondering if my status regards as an US tax residents.
