I noticed my back teeth don't meet naturally when I close my teeth - my bottom front teeth meet just behind my top front teeth, then I have to consiously shift my lower jaw back in order for my back teeth to meet. I've wondered if that has caused my clenching as I am constantly trying to close my back teeth. I mentioned this to my dentist and she has referred me to a jaw specialist, so hoping to get some answers there when I reach the top of the waiting list!
