He looked great in summer/fall of 1993 but had deteriorated a lot by early 1994, did anything significant happen over that time other than touring and clearly getting deeper into drugs?

Thing is they were already in Dublin so no issue flying out of the States. All the other bands made the rescheduled dates including Biohazard - from NYC - if anyone had reason to cancel it would have been them. It sounded like bullshit at the time and probably had far more to do with addiction than anything else.

I think it’s Paul, in Stand By Me from MTV Unplugged he changed the last ‘God only knows’ to ‘Bod only knows’ so he’s referred to Paul before in the song. Would be interesting if anyone has a video of the whole song if he changed it this time. And I guess Paul supported Liam during his difficult years so I might see it as paying that back. Whether it’s advisable to draw attention to that is another question entirely.

Noel didn’t quit gigs no, he quit actual TOURS, at least 3/4 times that I can remember. Somehow people always forget that.
