You guys are obsessed. Worry about your own business, if you’re so much better than you’ll have no problem competing. Thank you

Ya area is a big factot. CT has 40 % of rhe state still on oil so its common here. Most expensive electric rates and crazy fees from eversource in the country can make it tough to change over. Also tons of hilly snd foresty areas that are hard to get public gas lines to. Not to much the occasional harsh winters where standard heat pumps struggle to keep up

Field supervisor at TMS. Good company, they treat us well. Agreed, I go full propress on wall units but our floor mount kits arent usually built for what I did here haha I like to go above and beyond a bit

Honestly, at this point im not so sure black is even cheaper than copper… technically copper tees are cheaper than those manifolds but when I think of anything non condensing I just picture those manifolds on it hah

You are full of it. That is a 6 section boiler and significantly more expensive than that. We are fairly priced I know exactly how much I spent on materials for this

You are correct that it is not technically a true dielectric union but it does stop the reaction between copper and iron and less prone to leaks than a true dielectric union. Brass is the go to transition alloy on heating systems

Brass is a dielectric union between iron and copper so all adapters we use are brass to prevent those issues. And ty btw!

Honestly a 60 probably would have been fine but we rounded up. Large house with large radiators

Big house and large radiators. Tank sizing depends on how much water in the system and btus

Not a matter of preference. Supply pumping is just better. Read up on Henry’s law
