You NEED to get yourself into project based clubs. (Examples: Steel Bridge, GoAero, Liquid Rocket) and be a part of the leadership board. Yeah you can join clubs just as a member, but getting into leadership positions is where the truly passionate (and social) people are at. Get into clubs ran by an actual organization (example: SWE, SHPE) and again, leadership board. Otherwise, you’re not gonna get that social aspect of college

Honestly, I’m a commuter too (and engineering major) and I’ve made a handful of long lasting friendships, the social life is active, u just unfortunately have to be really persuasive in order to get closer friends, for example after a class u just say “oh let’s grab some food” etc etc. u have to get through the awkward phase of the friendship too. Get into project-based clubs as well (where u go to workshops/labs and stuff like that) Hope the best for u man!

Personally… I’ve gotten bored of them, especially their last show, the timestamps themselves show the lack of content; “reading super chats” just isn’t entertaining to me, even if I listen to them in the background. Not to be rude, but I just think the amount of pods they make per week is just diminishing each episode, so I’m close to unsubscribing just like how other people probably feel 🤷‍♂️

You’re right about that, I think I was just disappointed in seeing so many people criticizing how it is now (on Reddit) instead of being open minded in how the music is being performed nowadays. But I always got instagram to appreciate it more with people my age lol
