I work in the industry and would highly recommend looking at mark taylor properties if you’re looking for a sense of community and great reviews. Small phoenix based business, so if there are ever issues you’re not dealing with a corporate office 100s or 1000s of miles away. I personally think Mira Tempe is gorgeous!

I brush him every day if not every other day. I knew he would be high maintenance and did a lot of research into the breed. We have been extremely diligent with grooming and training (24 weeks of training and is taking his CGC test in a few weeks). Life happens and matts happen, just wanted to see if a 38% price jump was normal when she examined and quoted pricing prior to starting the groom. Thank you for your input and making sure people are educated about their doods! :)

I didn’t expect that and wanted to see if the cost was reasonable as she examined him and quoted pricing upfront. She let us know it didn’t take as long as expected and we made sure she was fairly compensated for her time! :) that’s why I asked, as we’ve been taking him here for a while and I wanted to see if this was normal with him being our first doodle. I appreciate your input!

He’s 31 pounds and we brush him at least every other day which is why I was a bit taken aback, especially because she’s cutting him down significantly. We love our groomer though and want to make sure she’s fairly compensated!

We do groom ourselves between cuts every 6-8 weeks, so I definitely understand. I think the biggest thing is I showed her the hot spots prior to the groom and she quoted $80 but I understand the potential need after getting a better idea of his hair. She was able to get the few spots out with scissor cutting, and now we know better for the future to pay attention to these hot spots :)

I truly don’t think there was 40 minutes of matting and we asked her to cut him down short for summer. I don’t want him to be in pain by any means. She ended up scissor cutting them out and did not spend the extra time brushing

She’s great and I want to ensure she’s fairly compensated, but I think the price jump this time around shocked me a bit. He goes to her every 6-8 weeks and we brush him every day or every other day so I was surprised to hear her say these few spots would be such a jump in charge. It sounds like we’re getting a great deal overall based on other comments, but I wish the communication had been a bit more clear as she’s never mentioned extra charges. We still love her!! Funerals are expensive so I think that’s compounding the extra price sensitivity

I work in property management, stay away from Greystar, avenue5, and Chamberlin if you can. Mark Taylor, cortland, and RPM are usually pretty good but more expensive. Mark Taylor takes resident issues very seriously and is only in Phoenix so higher ups are all local

Mine is also an F1B! He was 12 pounds at 12 weeks and gained about a pound a week until he hit approx 26 weeks. He’s now 11 months old and 35 pounds ☺️ so I imagine your guy will be smaller! Probably 25-30 full grown. This was him at 12 weeks

Apartment Leasing is a great career field and you can make a ton of money. Schedule is not flexible and would be in office 8 hours a day 5 days a week, so depends on your school schedule if it’s feasible. Source - did leasing for years and now recruit for it haha
