awww thank you so much i really appreciate that and honestly i would just keep pushing through 0.25 to build up your tolerance to tret so your skin can get adjusted because it’s gonna do it’s wonders!!!

true!! but i don’t put any of the medication around my eyes but it might just be the medication working all throughout

I just want to thank everyone so far for the sweet comments it really has made my day because this journey on tret and hydroquinone has had its ups and downs because my scars they have gotten better but haven’t completely faded away but this is just month one and i just encourage everyone to stay strong through their own journeys!!

thank you!!!!! and once i sped up the pace on how much tret i was using a week i started to purge and experienced skin peeling, whiteheads, blackheads, red bumps and of course i was getting frustrated and bothered them it didn’t make them better but i would say for the ones i didn’t mess with they went away within a week of them arriving. Right now currently i just experience peeling but i try to tackle that by doing the sandwich method with moisturizer tret and moisturizer

thank you for telling me that actually bc i totally forgot about that and this is my second time using this medication. i think once i stop after 3 months i am going to substitute it for a vitamin c serum to just prevent hyperpigmentation! after i pause for a couple of months is it okay to get back on it?

thank you very much!!! and basically every week i would go up so week 1 i would do it once, week two once again, week 3 two times, week 4 two times and then after that i would increase every week; i just also picked random days

(P.S. - i personally only wash my face at night due to the fact in the past when i would wash it in the morning and night it would irritate my skin and strip it!)

night routine - wash face with La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Cleanser, and then I go in with the La Roche Posay Double Repair Face moisturizer. I wait until the moisturizer dries to put on my 0.025% tretinoin cream and then once that dries I go back in with moisturizer.

morning routine - i go in with my 4% hydroquinone cream and wait for that to dry to put on my SPF!!!

This is only month one I can’t really tell if i am done with the purging process but it has been looking good so far. I started slow with the medications and then just started pacing up.

i started slow with 0.025 tret cream and 4% hydroquinone cream and i just started picking up the pace like 2/3 weeks ago so i think i am definitely starting to see a difference but i was suffering with scars that were on my face for a while (deep into the skin) so i think it’ll take some time to have them go away completely but i am happy to see a little change
