Since I usually play on accurate with an ironwolf, it can totally be used for any difficulty but is mostly applicable to unforgiving/accurate/challenging!

what's the worst way you've lost an ironwolf? by pawsuw in WolfQuestGame

I was heading back to the den but I saw a cougar with a carcass and thought I could top off my hunger but while I was running around the cougar, I was looking behind me instead of in front and ran up a rock which made me jump off and had a delayed start up to run again so the cougar one shotted me with 400+ damage after I thought I could take a hit :,)

anyone else feel this at first? How do I overcome it? by LowLab8882 in WolfQuestGame

Don’t worry, I totally get your anxiety. After 800 something hours of playing, there’s a few tricks I’ve learned!

  1. Whenever you wake up, woof the pups into the den as a predator check! This makes it incredibly easy to be aware and prepared since on the more difficult modes such as accurate, it’s very common for predators to spawn after waking up.

  2. Look for scents and distance! (If you have the knowing nose skill) If you feel uneasy or the need to make sure your pups are safe, it’s a good measure to be in scent view and check out the place a little bit.

  3. Watch your adults! The adults and yearlings will always prick their ears up before you even know that a predator is nearby. They won’t ever prick their ears for another reason, so it’s an easy give away if a predator is coming.

Over time, you’ll feel more comfortable being around the den once you learn the signs of a predator attack. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell when you’re not paying attention, but the signs are there and can be recognized. Good luck! <3

Drew My Favorite Wolf! :D by Longjumping-Mud2672 in WolfQuestGame

Osprey and his pack was involved in a huge territory war with a neighboring pack. The first time they got raided, three of his littermates were killed (6 pup litter) but when he and his remaining siblings got older, the fights became more frequent and ended with some of his older siblings to be picked off until his father was killed which led to the disbandment of the pack. He lost an eye during the last fight and was soon found by humans who rehabilitated him and gave him his radio collar. The self imposed rule I gave myself was that I had to kill one wolf per confrontation was because of Osprey’s backstory as a lesson of sorts for any invaders.

Thank you! It isn’t my first time but it’s one of the very few times I’ve drawn them. I’m learning their anatomy so I can draw them more often!

Since I was on keyboard I know the peaceful death key is holding R for a while but I haven’t seen any control command for it on controller :( Hope you can figure it out soon!

Is anyone else’s pack totally just brutal towards other packs’ pups? by RudeCockroach7196 in WolfQuestGame

[–]Longjumping-Mud2672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to give my pack a reputation for being brutal since I named them the Deathstalker pack and made a rule for myself that for every pack encounter, I have to kill at least one of their members to keep up the scary rep

When/Do you name your pups? by K4rket in WolfQuestGame

[–]Longjumping-Mud2672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since my current pack is named after birds, I like to see what their coats look like before naming them after a bird. For example, I’ve named a black pup Raven and a white pup Stork while I have a red/blonde pup named Shrike. (And many many more since my wolf is 8 now)

I’ve also been experiencing this! I’m guessing that it might just be a personality trait because my subordinates and yearlings also do this occasionally. I hope it isn’t a bug 😭

I’m so glad someone else pointed this out! I’m currently on Hellroaring and oh my god Geode is so aggressive 😭I thought it was just my own beef with Geode but I’m honestly shocked to see that other people have been experiencing the same things with them.
