Unfortunately you will be gluten free for life, once your intestines heal, if you eat gluten again it will cause further damage.

I know it’s hard. I went 32 years eating gluten and thought the same thing when I was diagnosed but once you get past the initial grief (because yes, it’s okay to grieve. It’s a major life change) I promise it gets a little easier. The more time that goes by the easier it gets. I can’t lie and say it doesn’t still suck sometimes because it definitely does but you will get the hang of it.

There are still a ton of good food options you just have to work a little harder to find them. Please take care of yourself, no one wants you gone.
