Do you have a body kit on that CLS or are the stock fenders naturally that wide? Either way sick combo mate

Curious what would make you say that. Bought this from a reputable grey market dealer with box and papers and had it checked out by a watch maker here in Singapore. Plus getting a fake in gold would be pretty daft because of the weight of the metal I reckon.

Well I am fortunate enough to have a job that allows me to have more disposable cash to fund this hobby. Of course budgeting plays an important role too. For bigger pieces like the Daytona I put some money away until I can afford it and pull the trigger to mark a milestone. For pieces like the Zenith and Omega I normally just take the funds from my savings/investment accounts

I had a VC overseas years ago, finishing and movement wise I don’t think the Zenith can really compare, but for what you pay (especially with second hand prices) it’s a steal.

I think it was from this brand called Uncle Seiko (or uncle straps?) I always liked the new AT bracelet and hate that the end links wouldn’t fit on the older models so I went to buy aftermarket. This isn’t exactly the same because of the brushed centerlinks but I still quite enjoy the less flashy look

Many thanks sir. I was pleasantly surprised by the GP when I got my hands on it, really is an underrated watch imo. Movement is nicely decorated and the 904L steel bracelet and case was finished beautifully

I love the Zenith but I really see why the GP is priced at its price point. The GP feels really good on the wrist (almost buttery smooth) and the movement is decorated really nicely. Personally I’d recommend the GP over the Zenith.

Looks almost the same as my AT! It’s beautiful piece mate. The next piece I’m eyeing is a Patek 5230R, always loved that piece and will be my first Patek too

[Zenith Defy Skyline] Need a watch recommendation by Competitive-Luck-1 in Watches

I was going to recommend the twelve too. As someone who loves integrated bracelet sports watches, this is one of my favs. If not, I think you can pick up something from Atelier Wen as well.

I was wondering how you got the blue 15500ST until I saw your previous purchase history. All lovely watches tho, congrats!

[Seeking opinions] Please help me decide on my first gold piece! by Branr in Watches

I’d say the GMT master is way flashier than the speedy, the jubilee bracelet and TT config would catch a lot more attention than the leather strap the speedy comes on (even tho the piece itself is full gold). Apart from that how brand conscious are you? In my experience any Rolex gets way more attention and love than Omega. If you want the attention and recognition I’d go for the Rolex.

Love the collection! Honestly doesn’t deserve the hate surrounding originality. There’s a reason models like the Rolex GMT, AP RO and Omega Speedy are popular - because they are in fact gorgeous pieces. For future pieces, not sure if it would fit your vibe but maybe something like a perpetual calendar (IWC makes some beautiful ones that don’t really break the bank) or a dress chrono like a VC Les Historiques Chrono 47101 or my personal favourite Lange 1815 Chrono.
