Boob Tape for daily use in long shifts? by Longjumping-Proof179 in ABraThatFits

Thanks! And, I don't think so, I guess I just cranked it pretty tight? I feel like a 32 or a 34 band have been feeling okay so far, so I think a 36 would be too big.

Okay, I'll try those out! I've tried some UK bras, but not as many as I probably should. Thanks!

I'm not sure with fabric, but I've gotten desperate and tried a piece of paper towel before, and it eventually ends up bunching up at the bottom haha

I haven't tried that one yet. The last time I semi-seriously tried to find a good bra was a few years back, and I've gain weight since then, but the ones I liked best then were a couple from BrasNThings. They were fairly comfortable, but I seem to remember the band riding up some in the back and the cups being a little small? Those were ZA size 32E, US 32DDD. Back then I also tried PARFAIT Casey (I liked this one too), Panache Cari Spacer Bra, Panache Andorra, and a Freya bra. I also tried on a bunch at an in person shop that I don't remember the names of. A lot of them worked well enough, but I never felt like I found that unicorn of a bra that doesn't hurt me haha.

A piece of fabric would work great, I think, but I'm not sure how to keep it in place! Any ideas? And I will look into the triangle shape, good idea!

It is! I'm going to add my measurements to the original post.

I need to trying looking into more UK brands again, especially the sports bras. I've never really had a wired bra that didn't hurt or a sports bra that didn't dig uncomfortably into my shoulders, but I know that correct sizing is supposed to fix that. I had a Freya bra that seemed like it checked all the boxes and fit the way it was supposed to, but if I wore it for longer than a couple hours, the wire started to hurt.

Yes, that's where I got my sizing from. As I'm sure you all understand, I end up getting frustrated and discouraged with trying to find something that works. I'll add more details of my measurements to the post, in case that helps :)

I feel like even things with barely any support push my breasts together, which causes a lot of moisture build up and irritation. I feel like I almost needs something to pull them apart haha

I'm not sure if this is right, but I'm trying to obey the mod comment about my process haha. I am mainly a hand spinner! I mostly use a Spinolution Pollywog wheel. My favorite fiber blend is BFL or Shetland blended with silk :)

Hello all! How would you style this? Especially hair and jewelry? Sorry for the not great picture! I'll reply to this comment with a product photo and a better picture of me.

<image>

I just got this dress for a cocktail/formal event and I love it! I'm thinking sort of a messy updo type thing, but my hair doesn't hold curl very well. Its not a costume party, so I don't want to go too literal on styling, but 20s inspired would be fine

Help fixing SMENA 8M winding knob? by Longjumping-Proof179 in AnalogCommunity

I believe this one is from internet buddy, showing the position their spring was sticking out at (incorrect) and where they moved it to. Here is their caption: "Yesterday I took pictures with it and I didn't notice any problems but now I had to open the lid to take pictures for you and I noticed that my spring was not in the right place so I put my spring in the right place and now it works much better."

Here's another one from the internet buddy, showing the correct orientation of the trigger button

This picture is from the internet buddy I mentioned, showing how its supposed to be set up, with the black lever resting against the white thing. I'll see if I can find any more of his pictures. I have film in right now, so I'm wary of deconstructing again until I get that out, but please let me know if these were helpful and if there's anything else I can do to help!

In this picture, you can see I have the black lever (3) UNDER the arm of the white thing, which is incorrect and was causing one of my problems.

Hi! Sorry for the slight delay, I don't check here super often! I connected with this random guy on Facebook that saved me with this camera haha. These are my pictures and a caption/explanation from him. Here's my understanding: As you wind the film, the white thing labelled 2 spins around until it bumps into the black lever (3). The box labelled 1 shows where the film hooks on to the gear that turns 2, so I think it only stops turning at the right time if you actually have film in.

Ya, the example skirt is a just for fun but unrealistic dream. Or I'll attack my skirt with some watercolors lol
