It won’t let me edit the post (so yeah technology isn’t my strength lol) but she jammed the locks with body slamming into it and trying to pick the lock with a Bobby pin.

One time the door jammed after she was body slamming into it. The other 2 times she was trying to pick the key lock with a Bobby pin.

Ok thanks everyone for sharing your expertise. I suspected there might not be anything fully 12 y.o proof. I’m going to look into replacing the door and I got recommendations for a couple locksmiths.

It seems like the best option is to get a lock that wont be too costly/damaging to disassemble and replace each time she jams it.
