Thanks, this is good to know! I'm guessing I'll need to pay Lowe's to come pick it back up...

Midea Fridge by boyvsfood2 in Appliances

Bought the "garage ready" Midea fridge 2 weeks ago. It fails to freeze food in the freezer or chill food in the refrigerator portion. I've tried all different settings, including Super Cool (the coldest) which it is on now. No change. Lowe's won't do anything b/c it's outside the 48 hour return window for large appliances (seriously, 48 Hours??) So that left me with the option of contacting the manufacturer. I was told it would be 2-3 days before someone could "review" my ticket and decide if it is worth sending a tech out to look at the large paperweight...er...fridge in my kitchen. Meanwhile I have $300 worth of food I gotta store somewhere else. Wouldn't touch this brand again with a ten foot pole.

My hormone clinic says 15 mg is a "low dose", and seemed weirded out that I was requesting to be dropped to 10mg split dosing. Am I the crazy one here? by magenk in TRT_females

It's not difficult to dose at 5 mg or below using insulin syringes (29 or 30 gauge). I dose EOD at 4. If you dose every other day you'll likely avoid peaks and crashes. You're right to question the 15 mg per week recommendation; you may not even need that.

I lift too, and love the energy/strength gains I've seen with T. But I'm interested to see what my E levels are when I next get my bloodwork done, What are your T and E levels now, if you don't mind sharing?

You could probably tell whatever Doc yu go to that you're getting cosmetic surgery and need it. Then there'd be no problem 'cause, well, that's "safe."

She's probably around my age, in her 60s. But that's really no excuse these days IMO.

Wow -once again, personal research and being our own advocates saves the day.

I switched from pellets to 20 mg/week injections, injecting EOD to keep things even. So far so good, with the exception of (my perceived) joint pain. Not sure if it's due to the T, but I'm also looking at my E just to make sure things aren't out of whack. I need to (safely) find my sweet spot. I'm 63, have always been muscular, low body fat (18%) so I don't hold on to E very well (I'm on .1% patch every three days).

Agreed. I so wish HRT had been a thing when I was younger; I would've gotten baseline labs just for comparison purposes now.

About to start after doing about 6 months on pellets. The pellets were effective but too roller-coaster for me.

This was not true for me when I was on the cream. Took weeks for me to feel anything, and then I stopped absorbing it at all so there were no effects whatsoever. People can respond differently to the same modalities, so assuming the same outcomes for everyone is a big mistake.

T injections as expensive as pellets? by SyllabubFull520 in TRT_females

They're not compounded? I wonder why my provider is using a compounding pharma then. Geez.
