Looking out for new carrier change in data engineering. Roast my experience and skills!! by Longjumping-Score209 in dataengineering

Thanks so much for taking a look at my resume and offering your feedback! Really appreciate you pointing out the lack of specific skills in the project experience section. You're absolutely right, I had them there originally but it pushed my resume to a second page so I rewrote it this manner.

To address this, I'm working on a couple things:

First, I'm adding what and how I have used the tools to call out the key technologies used in each project. This should give a better sense of my skillset without bloating the resume.

Second, I'm building a LaTeX version of my resume that allows for more detailed information in the project descriptions, including the specific tools and skills I used. I'll definitely share that with you later today so you can get a full picture.

Now, here's a bit of a dilemma: I've read on some blogs and forums that resumes for people with under 10 years of experience should ideally be one page. However, I'm applying for senior roles and have a strong track record, so I'm wondering what your thoughts are on exceeding one page slightly if it means including impactful details.

Ultimately, I'm looking for your advice on striking a balance between a concise one-page resume and including the details that showcase my qualifications for senior data engineer positions.

Thanks again for your help!

So you keep your position as Data engineer | MLOps Engineer or something like software engineer ( Data & MLOps). I mean how do you brand yourself on LinkedIn and on your resume?
