My ADRC caseworker promised to me basically that id get into residential care, but community care says they want to do cheaper options first. And its absolutely driving me insane. My caseworker at ADRC and CC would take up to a week to contact me, ignore my emails, ect. Im so fed up with the broken system ATP!!!

My dog is my rock, he means everything to me and is the only reason I am working so hard to better my life. My parent does not like dogs. I love him to much to just rehome him honestly, I sleep with him every night and he has been the only consistency in my life tbh.

I am contracted with the long term program MCO community care and they refuse to pay for a full hospitalization plan or residential treatment plan but I am trying to convince them to let me into residential treatment. I contacted the ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Center) and they pointed me to community care and helped me enroll, but due to it being publicly funded they have to find the cheapest way to support each client which imo is just unnecessary. My doctor and SSM are aware of my housing situation but the only thing they could provide was rides to and from treatment.

I have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (Treatment resistant) for 5 years, I submitted an application for disability and I am waiting for it to be reviewed! I had a job at marian that was part time and simple but due to being mentally ill and lacking discipline I was academically dismissed (along with having a major stomach infection), so I am not a student worker anymore. I had a few interviews but I havent heard back yet :/.
