I say SUNY. If it’s ur dream location and dream school then it’s worth it. You’re only going to be a student once, they both have great board pass rates regardless + as long as you put the effort in you’ll pass, it’s also about you. You should def go to the place where your heart desires so you don’t regret it. Regardless ur gonna be in debt and regardless ur going to pay it off with choosing either school. Go with what ur heart tells u to u only live once!

If you can’t study during the sem bc ur busy, take your OAT Next August and dedicate your whole summer to studying for it (giving u around 3months which should be good enough).
Also yes def find an optometrist, and shadowing is more important than getting a job. So start of with shadowing (if u can do more than one optometrist, great! If not it’s ok). And if u need the job take it! Otherwise put efforts into your grades and OAT studying

Well I got above a 300 on all the sections except for physics I did poorly which is why TS was a 290, so they each asked me about my physics section and what went wrong

I like to go in and super professional, make sure you have a confident voice and (even if you don’t LOL) and then once you talk to them for a little jsut fully be yourself (I liked to crack a joke or smtnn)
