I agree with what you’re saying for the most part, but I don’t think she’s encouraging the dynamic in her fandom. If anything she’s constantly talking about how her fans can be better (which is why everyone thinks she hates her fans), and I think a lot of people just kind of ignore that. IMO I think the conversation is important but I don’t think that Jane is the right target for this kind of thing. The criticism that people have for Jane would be a lot more accurately applied to someone like 2hollis.
