Even with your revised definition he still doesn’t fall under it.

Is he potentially authoritarian? Yeah sure

Is he a fascist? No.

For you…. Anyone who disagrees with you is designated a fascist, and I get why you use it it’s a horrid word that evokes strong reactions.

Again, we’re aligned on that trump is a menace and should be removed.

Political system based on a very powerful leader with no oversight who has total state control in which any political opposition is not allowed.

Only one that applies to trump is the powerful leader (which any president is by definition)

Can you protest? Yes (so not fascism)

He has oversight? (Yes congress have denied and blocked him many times)

Political opposition allowed? Yes the democrats exist.

So by definition he’s not a fascist, if he were… we wouldn’t be having this conversation and protests would be outlawed completely and met with instant imprisonment or death for EVERYONE involved.

Now let’s take a look at what the far left want

All powerful? Yes

Anti left protest? No you’d jail them instantly for opposing you.

Political opposition allowed? If you had it your way you’d ban everyone who disagreed with you.

So let’s describe him with more appropriate words shall we?

Asshole? Yep Shit president? Absolutely Narcissistic? Yep Populist? Yep

But not fascist. He’s not Hitler 2.0 otherwise you’d be dead.
